It is one of the places where both local residents of Kusadasi district and foreign tourists can swim together during summer.
In ancient times during Ottoman rule, the path to the beach was secluded under pine trees and only women could enter and swim in the beach hence the name women sea beach.
Nowadays it is a free public beach and anyone whether male or female can enter the beach, swim and bask in the sun on the warm sandy beach.
Visitors can rent a towel and an umbrella at the beach if they don’t bring them along whenever they visit the beach.

Kusadasi which is a major tourist destination can be reached through a direct bus service departing from Aydin city centre or by minibuses from Aydin centre.
There are also bus services that can be used from other provinces in Turkey to Kusadasi.
