Paula Allodaya Item, also known as Audy Item, is a famed Indonesian songstress.
She was born on April 23, 1983. She is the youngest of the three children born to jazz music lovers Jopie Item and Evie Aquantine Aziz.
The band Andra and the Backbone have Stevie Item her eldest brother as a guitarist, so it’s safe to say that the family is musical. Audy item is married to Iko Uwais and they have two daughters.

Audy Item was signed to a recording contract with Sony BMG Indonesia which helped her to work on her studio album, 18. The album title was a reflection of her age.
2. Audy Item released two successful singles in 2002
Audy released her first single, Jinji daitas ingkar in 2002. It became a success on Indonesia’s music chart. Other singles were also produced such as Bila Saja, Miningis Selmalam, and Arti Hadirmu within the same year.
3. Item Audy won an MTV Award in 2003
Audy won awards at other annual awards ceremonies after her album and singles became top sellers in the market. She won Most favorite female at the 2003 MTV Indonesia award. She also received four awards at the Anugerah Musik Indonesia such as the outstanding pop album.

In 2003, she had a successful year. Afterward, Audy worked on her second album with the title 20-02. It was a studio album. She subsequently released two other singles namely Lagu sendu and dibalas dengan dusta which were big hits. They earned her an award for favorite artist Indonesia at the 2004 MTV Asia award in Singapore.
She also received recognition for signing the most signatures on the 20-02 album. Later, Audy Item released the same version and spiced it with some new singles such as Temui Aku and Pertama Kali.
5. Audy Item collaborated with singer Nindy
After the success of her second album 20-02, Audy later released her third album titled 23-03 in the year 2003. In the same year, she produced a single titled Untuk Sahabat which was a collaboration between her and singer and actress Nindy. It was a masterpiece and gained popularity fast that it was even used in the Olay beauty commercial.

Audy Item also worked with the Canadian pop duo Same Same to produce Without You for her Indonesia version. Before the collaboration, the song was not as widely spread as it did after the collaboration. It expanded its borders to other countries like Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and China.

Audy took a break from her music career for four years. After the break, she released her fourth studio album, titled Selalu terdapan. She also released a few singles, like Aku Bosan.

Additionally, she won the top ten awards for fabulous albums and funkiest females. MURI, the Indonesia world record museum, also awarded her for receiving the most signatures in two hours on her postcard cover album.
10. She married Iko Uwais
Audy Item is married to professional actor, stuntman, fight choreographer, and martial artist Iko Uwais. He is known for his portrayal in the films Meranti and many more. They got married on 25 June 2012 at the Grand Mahakam hotel in Jakarta. The couple has two daughters Atreya Syahla Putri Uwais and Aneska Layla Putri Uwais.
