1. He Had an Intriguing Childhood
Ruskin was born on May 19, 1934, in Kasauli which is a small hill station in Himachal Pradesh, India. When he was eight years old, he was sent to a boarding school in Shimla. He was introduced, at the school, to literature and developed a love for ending and writing. While Ruskin was still at the boarding school, he wrote his first book The Room on the Roof at the age of 17.
