Hong DisneyLand in Hong Kong was established in 2013. It has an area of 1,095 hectares and 6.5km of paths. There is a total of 11 rides and two outdoor areas which are gradually expanding as it gets more popular with visitors every day. The theme park is popular with both locals and tourists.

It has already welcomed 9 million visitors since it opened on July 1, 2014. There are famous attraction sites like the eye-catching Fantasia Garden and intriguing hotels. 1.First Disney Theme Park in Asia

Hong Kong Disneyland is the first Disney theme park in Asia and attracts more than 10 million local and international tourists annually. It is situated on a hillside at Penny’s Bay in Lantau Island, a short drive from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station.
As far as the attractions are concerned, several shows and rides can be experienced by visitors, including Grizzly Gulch, which opened in 2007.

With a wide range of entertainment and adventure, it has attracted many tourists worldwide. It is also the first Disney theme park to introduce two extravagant firework shows synchronized with music – The Disney Superstar Series and World of Colour, which are run in conjunction with their Hollywood parks.

2.Hong DisneyLand Currently has Seven Themed Areas

Hong DisneyLand currently has seven themed areas: Main Street U.S.A. (America), Adventure Isle (Adventure Isle Adventure land), Discovery Bay Mountain which is a simulated natural wonderland, Mickey’s Storybook Workshop (Storybook Workshop), Fantasyland which contains Snow White’s Scary Adventures, Mystic Point (Mystic Point Mystic Point Village) and Toy Story Land, also known as Toy Box.

Saving money for the park was difficult. The Hong Kong government had to pay a fee to build the park. As a result, the Hong Kong government was forced to raise taxes and borrow money to meet these costs. The Hong Kong government has repaid almost all of the debt, except for $10 million, which was still owed in 2008.

3.The Hong DisneyLand has Fantasia Gardens

The Fantasia Gardens, located in the park’s northwest, features over 30 different Disney characters and was inspired by scenes from Disney’s Fantasia. The garden is divided into four sections: Flora Gardens, Water Front, Grotto Gardens, and Pavilion.

It is normally open to visitors during regular park hours; however, it will be closed during special events such as Christmas parties and New Year’s Eve.

4.The Hong DisneyLand Experienced Opening Date Delays

The park was originally planned for an opening date of 2002 but experienced delays. The reasons for these delays included the 1997 Asian financial crisis, which caused a recession and a sharp increase in land prices because Disney had bought and kept undeveloped land that it sold to itself at a profit, as well as construction and design errors.

A local contractor was hired to build a ride, which would have cost $100 million and required a total revamp of the park.

Hong DisneyLand is the first Disney park built outside the United States and Â鶹APP. The land occupied an area of about 500 acres with two main gates: the Main Gate and the West Gate. The Main Gate is located north of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and faces New Praya Bay.

It’s connected to both Epcot Centre and Disneyland Â鶹APP via monorail. The West Gate is located east of the Main Gate, connected to Disney’s California Adventure Park and Walt Disney Studios Park via monorail.

7.Disneyland Park is Hong Kong Disneyland Resort’s Oldest Section

Disneyland Park is Hong Kong Disneyland Resort’s oldest section. It was originally opened on September 1, 2005, to coincide with the 60th anniversary of Disneyland in California.

This section is contained within an area of 131 acres and has been featured in hundreds of nationally and internationally publications due to its architectural design and detail.
