Love is Blind is a new reality show that is taking over the country. Vanessa and her husband, Nick, co-host the show. All of us are engrossed with this new Netflix show…and rightfully so. It’s completely insane.

Couples on the show get engaged without ever meeting in person. They only communicate in strange pods that resemble the “napping pods” that colleges have on campus. Speed dating is a nightmare. Television speed dating is a nightmare. Speed dating in Star Trek pods on television is a form of futuristic torture.

Vanessa and Nick Lachey, a real-life married couple, host this futuristic torture show. They should ideally show engaged couples what a happy marriage looks like. At the very least, Nick and Vanessa return home each night and discuss how strange their new hosting gig is! This should provide years of fascinating dinner conversation for their family.

Vanessa Lachey has a long career in the entertainment industry, both as a host and as an actress, in addition to hosting Love Is Blind.

1.She is a regular guest host on Talk Show

Vanessa appeared on The Talk as a guest host for eight episodes. If she wasn’t so busy with her other hosting gigs, she’d be a regular co- host by now…or she should be. Vanessa would be fantastic at it. We’re all aware that Nick could easily step in if she became ill.

2.Her wedding was broadcast on television

She stared dating singer Nick Lachey in 2006 after appearing in the music video for his song “What’s Left of Me.” The couple married  at Sir Richard Branson’s private Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands, where they got engaged in November 2010.

The majority of people hire a videographer for their wedding. Vanessa and Nick were accompanied by an entire film crew. Nick and Vanessa’s Dream Wedding aired as a two-hour special event on TLC in 2011, the same network that broadcasts the famous Say Yes to the Dress. Amazon has made the wedding special available for viewing.

Nick and Vanessa were born on the same day, November 9th. Camden John, Brooklyn Elisabeth, and Phoenix Robert Lachey are Nick and Vanessa Lachey’s three children.

3.She is a Top Chef Junior host

Vanessa truly merits a holiday. She hosts a variety of television shows. Then, after a long day as a host/correspondent, she becomes a mother to three children. Please, Nick, take this woman on a vacation. Once the Coronavirus has died down.

4.She was crowned Miss Congeniality

Vanessa won the whole pageant while competing as Miss Teen USA representing South Carolina, and she was also shortlisted for Miss Congeniality. Vanessa dominated the pageant in 2008. She was South Carolina’s first Miss Congeniality. Unfortunately, she was not an undercover FBI agent!

5.She appeared in the Disaster Film

Disaster Movie was a satirical comedy inspired by previous Hollywood tragedy films released in 2008. While the film did well at the box office, it gained mainly bad feedback. It receives six Razzie nominations, just two less than Cats. Although we haven’t seen the film, Kim Kardashian West stars in it, which reveals a great deal.

6.She made an appearance on an episode of Hawaii Five-O

Vanessa and her husband, Nick, appeared in a Hawaii Five-O episode. They were engaged at the time. Being on an episode of a TV show is a great reason to take a couple’s vacation to Hawaii. The two actors were most likely tempted to elope on the beautiful islands. We most certainly would have been.

7.She appeared on Dancing With The Stars

Nick and Vanessa’s collaboration in hosting Love is Blind is not the first time they have worked together professionally. In 2017, the co-hosting couple participated on Dancing with the Stars competing against one another. Lets hope, they had a family member or nanny to look after their children after those long rehearsals. Vanessa stayed in the competition for one week longer than her husband.

8.She appeared in the film How I Met Your Mother

Vanessa appeared as Ashlee in the episode “No Tomorrow” of How I Met Your Mother. Ashlee was a married woman Ted had an affair with, for those who refused to binge-watch the series after the truly awful season finale (which is everyone). To be honest, if he had ended up with Ashlee, it would have been preferable to the actual finale.

9.Vanessa once had to move Turkey 

Vanessa and her brother, Vincent Junior, accompanied their mother and new stepfather to Turkey. They returned to the United States in 1991 to live with their father in Charleston, South Carolina, where they attended school. Being a divorced child is challenging enough; we cannot imagine moving to another country.

Vanessa Joy Minnillo was born at Clark Air Base’s 13th Air Force Regional Medical Center in Angeles City, Philippines. Her father, Vincent Charles Minnillo, is an American citizen of Italian and Irish descent from Cleveland, Ohio, and her mother, Helen Ramos Bercero, is from Manila, Philippines.

Minnillo has an adopted two-year-old brother. Due to her father’s Air Force service, the family moved regularly. She went to eight different schools in nine years while living in Washington, California, Nevada, Florida, Germany, and Japan.

Minnillo’s parents divorced in 1986 after they separated in 1983. When she was nine years old, her mother abandoned the family. Both of Minnillo’s parents remarried. Her mother and new stepfather moved her and her brother Vincent Jr. to Turkey.

They returned to their father’s home in 1991, following Operation Desert Shield, finally settling in Charleston, South Carolina, where Minnillo went to Roman Catholic Bishop England High School and was a cheerleader.

She then moved in with her father and stepmother, Donna. She has summarized her childhood as “very rough, hectic.” She also spent a year at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School in San Bernardino, California.
