Manny Jacinto is an Actor and a T.V personality who has appeared in many T.V shows and projects because of his outstanding skills and talents. He was born in Manila Philippines to a well-settled Christian family. After several small roles, the actor made it to a major role as Jason Mendoza in the film “The Good Place鈥�. He was born in Manila Philippines on 19th August 1987. He was raised in a well-settled Christian family and so he has his beliefs in Christianity religion. The personal name “Jacinto” in Spanish means hyacinth. In curiosity, the name does not only mean the flower called hyacinth but also a 3^rd century Christian saint who was martyred together with his brother Portus. Jacinto鈥檚 birthplace explains his family name.

2. He is of Canadian nationality

In 1990, when he was about three years old his family migrated to Canada. Jacinto is referred to as a Pilipino -Canadian actor because he majored most of his life in Canada despite being born in the Philippines. His father, Mr Jacinto is a professional businessman while his mother Mrs Jacinto is a housewife.

He was raised in Canada from a young age and participated in the 2013 Hip-Hop International world champion that allowed Canada to earn 10^th place.

3. He has a Degree in Civil engineering

After attending Vancouver College, which is an independent university preparatory catholic school for boys only, in British Colombia. He moved to earn himself a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at the University of British Colombia. While he was interning, during his study years, the actor got inspired by a dance T.V show that led him to start training Hip 鈥� Hop dance at Fresh Groove Production. He admits that dancing was his first love before deciding on acting as a career. He is an accomplished freestyle dancer who finished third in the 2011 world of dance tour. He participated in various dancing competitions including the 2013 Hip-Hop international world tour that helped Canada earn 10^th place and the 2012 Artist Emerge National Street Dance Completion that earned him first place. 5. Raised in Richmond

After they moved to Canada from the Philippines, Jacinto grew up in Richmond, which is a coastal city in the metro Vancouver region of British Colombia Canada. Richmond is surrounded by other communities such as Burnaby, Delta and Westminster. Most than half of its residents are immigrants and so it鈥檚 a popular destination for immigrants.

While growing up, he enjoyed sports and played basketball and baseball.

His first role was minor in the T.V series ‘Once upon a time”.This is an American Fantancy Adventure Drama Television Series that aired for seven seasons on ABC from October 23^rd 2011 to May 18^th 2018. However, this role is soon followed by other roles in other series including, Supernatural in 2013, the 100 in 2014 and iZombie in 2015.

7. He acted as Triad Leader

In 2015, after the minor roles, he was cast as a triad leader Wing Lei in the Canadian Spy Drama, 鈥楾he Romeo Spy Section鈥� by Chris Haddock who is a Canadian screenwriter and producer and director. This role won him a Leo Award Nomination for best-supporting performance in dramatic series. His character was well received and recognized.

The series was about a professor managing both male and female spies called Romeos and Juliet鈥檚 who engaged in intimate relationships for the purpose of conducting espionage run for two years.

8. He is a model

Besides him being a well-known actor, a great dancer and holding a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, he is also a professional model. Being a height of 1.8, weight of 71 kg a slim body type, he has won the hearts of different modelling agencies. He walked the runway as a model for Ark and Hardihood clothing brand.
