Guadeloupe is an archipelago and overseas department and region of France in the Caribbean. It consists of six inhabited islands—Basse-Terre, Grande-Terre, Marie-Galante, La Desirade, and the two inhabited ÃŽles des Saintes—as well as many uninhabited islands and outcroppings. 

The Guadeloupe football national team represents Guadeloupe in men’s international football. The team is controlled by the Ligue Guadeloupéenne de Football (English: Guadeloupean Football League), a local branch of French Football Federation.

1.Dominique Mocka

Dominique Mocka who was born on 13th August 1978 is soccer player from Guadeloupe. Mocka can operate in midfield or as a forward and currently plays for JS Vieux-Habitants and the Guadeloupe football team. He is the brother of fellow Guadeloupe and JS Vieux-Habitants striker Erick Mocka.

Dominique has been capped thirty-eight times for his country, scoring seventeen goals which makes him the all time top scorer .In 2010, Mocka took charge of the Guadeloupe U20 team when they began competing for the first time since 1992.  He was appointed joint-manager along with Steve Bizasene.

2.Ludovic Gotin

Ludovic Gotin who was born on 25th July 1985 is a Guadeloupean footballer who currently plays for French club Le Moule on the island of Guadeloupe in the Guadeloupe Division d’Honneur. He plays as a striker.

Though Gotin has spent the majority of his career playing on the island, he did have a stint in metropolitan France in 2005–06 playing with amateur club CS Avion. He has made a total of 33 appearances and scored 15 goals in the process which makes him second all time highest scorer. 

3.Jean-Luc Lambourde

Jean-Luc Lambourde who was born on 10th April 1980 is a French football player who plays for Amical Club on the island of Guadeloupe in the Guadeloupe Division d’Honneur. Lambourde is also a member of the Guadeloupe national football team.

He is one of a few players in the team to have participated in all three of the team’s appearances as the CONCACAF Gold Cup.He has made a total of 65 appearances for the Guadeloupe national football team and has scored 15 goals in the process. He is among the best players from Guadeloupe. 

4.Vladimir Pascal

Vladimir Pascal who was born on 27th May 1992, in Haiti is a Haitian-Guadeloupean footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for CS Moulien of the Guadeloupe Division d’Honneur, the top division of the Guadeloupe football league system. He is also a member of the Guadeloupe national football team. 

Pascal made his debut for the Guadeloupe national football team in a friendly against St. Kitts and Nevis on 2 March 2010. He has since gone on to be part of the squad for the 2010 and 2012 Coupe de l’Outre-Mer and Guadeloupe’s unsuccessful run during 2012 Caribbean Cup qualification.He has made a total of 12 appearances for his national team and scored 10 goals in the process. 

5.Stephane Auvray

Stephane Auvray who was born on the 4th of September 1981 is a Guadeloupean former professional soccer player who played as a midfielder and served as captain of the Guadeloupe national team.He is one of the best players from Guadeloupe. 

Auvray made his major tournament debut for Guadeloupe at the CONCACAF Gold Cup in June 2007 against Haiti. The team made it to the semi-finals but was eliminated by Mexico. He made a total of 26 appearances and scored 2 goals for the national side. 

6.David Fleurival

David Fleurival who was born on 19th February 1984 is a Guadeloupean international footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Luxembourgish club Rodange 91 and the Guadeloupe national team. 

Fleurival made his debut for Guadeloupe at the CONCACAF Gold Cup Finals in June 2007 against Haiti. He also played at the 2008 Caribbean Cup. He has made a total of 24 appearances scoring 2 goals in that time. He has played at Tours FC where he was the team captain and in Portugal with Boavista F.C.

7.Mickael Antoine-Curier

Mickael Antoine-Curier who was born on 5 March 1983 is a French former professional footballer who played as a striker from 2001 until 2018.Antoine-Curier played in seven countries for twenty two different sides including in England and France. 

Curier was selected by Guadeloupe for the Caribbean Cup 2008, scoring 6 goals in 8 games. He also participated in the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup for Guadeloupe, in which they reached the quarter finals. He made a total of 16 appearances for his nation and scored 6 goals from 2008-2015.

8.Matthias Phaeton

Matthias Jean Phaeton who born on 8th January 2000 is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Grenoble. Born in France, he represents the Guadeloupe national team.Born in France, Phaeton is of Guadeloupean descent. Phaeton is a youth international for France, and represented them at the 2016 Toulon Tournament scoring four goals in five games.

He debuted for the Guadeloupe national team in a 2–0 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup qualification win over Bahamas on 3 July 2021, where he scored his side’s first goal.He has since made a total of 12 apps for the Guadeloupe national team and scored a total of 5 goals in that time.

Frederic Alexandre Tejou who was born on the 13th of July 1987 is a Guadeloupean professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for the club La Gauloise, and the Guadeloupe national team. 

Ajax debuted with the Guadeloupe national team in a 2–0 friendly loss to Martinique on 26 December 2015. He was called up to represent Guadeloupe at the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup. He has since made a total of 5 appearances for the national team.

Anthony Baron who was born on the 29th of December 1992 is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Swiss club Servette U21, the under-21 team of Servette. He represents the Guadeloupean national team. He is among the top rated players in his national team. 

Baron debuted for the Guadeloupe national team in a 0–0 CONCACAF Nations League tie with Aruba on 16 October 2018. He was likewise called up to represent Guadeloupe at the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup.He has represented the Guadeloupe national team in a total of 13 apps and scored 1 goal in that time. 

As an overseas department of the French Republic, Guadeloupe is not a member of FIFA and is therefore not eligible to enter the FIFA World Cup or any competition organized first-hand by the organization.

Guadeloupeans, being French citizens, are eligible to play for the France national football team. Guadeloupe is, however, a member of CONCACAF and the CFU and is eligible for all competitions organized by both the organizations.
