Millie Bobby Brown is a British actress and producer who was born on February 19, 2004, in Marbella, Málaga, Spain,  as the third of four children to British parents Kelly and Robert Brown, a real estate agent. She returned to England with her family when she was four, settling in Bournemouth; when she was eight, the family relocated to Orlando, Florida. 

Her rise to prominence came when she was cast as Eleven in the Netflix science fiction series Stranger Things (2016–present), for which she received two Primetime Emmy nominations. Brown has appeared in Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) and its sequel, Godzilla vs. Kong (2021). She also appeared in and produced the Netflix mystery film Enola Holmes (2020) and its sequel in 2022.

1.  Once Upon a Time In Wonderland marked her acting debut

Brown made her acting debut in 2013 as a guest star in the ABC fantasy drama series Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, a spin-off of Once Upon a Time, as Young Alice. In 2014, she starred as Madison O’Donnell in the BBC America paranormal drama-thriller series Intruders and later went on to appear as a guest star on the CBS cop procedural drama NCIS, the ABC sitcom Modern Family, and the ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy.

Millie received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2017. She didn’t win, but she did make history by being the youngest Emmy nominee ever. Brown was deservedly presented with the MTV Movie & TV Awards’ Best Actor in a Show award later that year.

3. Millie has won multiple acting accolades

In 2016, Bobby was presented with the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance in a Drama Series alongside her co-stars, as well as the 43rd Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series.

In 2018, she was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Primetime Emmy Award for her performance as Eleven in Stranger Things 2. Throughout her career, she has received twelve awards, most notably for her role as Eleven in Stranger Things and, more recently, for Enola Holmes.

PCMA Productions, the young star’s production company based in Georgia, was founded with the vision and dedication of partnering with local storytellers and supporting the thriving entertainment and film industry.

Brown’s company was involved in producing both Enola Holmes films, and she is set to produce a Netflix show. It’s called A Time Lost and was written by her and her older sister, Paige Brown.

Millie Bobby Brown fell in love with Liverpool because of her family’s influence, and she explicitly mentions Steven Gerrard as a reason for her choice of the Premier League club.
In an interview with LiverpoolFC.com in 2017, the actress stated that her family has been supporters and big fans of the club since she was a child. This gradually led her to love the club and follow its games. 
Her brother played a significant role in it. Her interest in the club grew when he began telling her about Steven Gerrard while he was playing.

Millie revealed on The Drew Barrymore Show that she might be interested in playing Britney Spears in a biopic if one is ever made.
Brown has always wanted to play a real person, and her overwhelming choice would be Britney Spears. She explained that Britney’s story was similar to hers because they both grew up in the spotlight.
In an unusual turn of events, Britney learned of her statement and reacted negatively, claiming that people interested in making films about her life preferred that she be dead.

7. Millie does not have Social Media on her phone

Someone else manages her Instagram and Facebook pages, the only social media platforms she hasn’t deleted, and she went to therapy to deal with the constant online bullying. It’s difficult to deny that everyone is obsessed with everything Millie says and does. Brown follows a strict kickboxing and exercise regimen that includes Thai boxing on Mondays, Jujitsu on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and boxing on Wednesdays. Mark, her boxing partner, was once a world champion. She has a punching bag right outside her house garden. Her obsession with exercise compensates for the fact that she never sticks to any diet and always eats whatever she wants.

Fans have noted that Brown resembles a young Carrie Fisher, and several online petitions have been started to have Brown play a young Princess Leia if such a film were ever made. In a tribute to her in Time, American actor Aaron Paul said she was an extraordinary actor and, despite her youth, her spirit and mind were timeless, something he got from their first meeting. He went on to say that talking to her was like talking to a future mentor with a perspective and groundedness he could only dream of.
