Mille Gejl, a midfielder for the North Carolina Courage of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and the Denmark national team, was born in Denmark on September 23, 1999. From an early age, she shown exceptional skill, participating in 44 international youth matches. She was successful at the club level and frequently participated on several young national teams. In the U17 European Championship qualifying matches, she scored many goals for the U17 national teams. She was also chosen for the Switzerland U19 European Championship, where Denmark has previously advanced to the semifinals. She debuted for the senior Danish national team on January 21, 2019, in a friendly match against Finland in Larnaca, Cyprus. She scored her first goal for the national team in this game.

Katrine Vejsgaard Veje, a professional football player from Denmark who competes for Everton in the English FA Women’s Super League and the Danish national team, was born on June 19, 1991. She formerly represented Seattle Reign FC of the National Women’s Soccer League, Arsenal in the FA WSL, LdB FC Malmö of Sweden’s Damallsvenskan, Odense Q and Brndby IF of Denmark’s Elitedivisionen, as well as LdB FC Malmö and Brndby IF.
