10 Most Popular Antique Shops in Copenhagen

Copenhagen is most famous for the Little Mermaid, Danish Pastries, Tivoli Gardens, and Nyhavn. But did you know that Copenhagen is one of the best cities in the world for vintage shopping?

At least, according to Vouge, which included two of Copenhagen’s best vintage stores on their list of the world’s top ten greatest vintage stores!

Of course, these two have been added to the list, along with some less expensive options.

This list includes everything from high-end vintage stores with Chanel, Dior, and Gucci on their shelves and rags.

However, we’ve also included the best vintage stores in Copenhagen for thrifting on a budget. Essentially, this guide has something for everyone’s budget.

So let’s get started!

Rosy Vintage

Okay, let’s start with a more affordable classic. If you only go to one vintage store in Copenhagen, and you’re not looking for vintage silk Chanel blouses, I recommend Rosy Vintage. Without a doubt.

This shop is full of amazing and one-of-a-kind vintage items that won’t break the bank. When you walk in, you might think you’ve entered the wrong store because the clothes are so beautifully displayed that you’d think it was much more expensive than it is.

But that’s the whole point of this vintage gem in the city center.

The owners of this shop are also the owners of fashion it-girls’ favorite high-end vintage store, but they wanted to create a more affordable option so that everyone could enjoy a great vintage shopping experience.

Rosy is the result, and it is without a doubt one of the best vintage stores in Copenhagen, regardless of your budget or style.

Jerome

If you were wondering which fancy it-store I was referring to above, this is it. It is located in the same building as Rosy Vintage, so if you go to Rosy, you should also go to Jerome.

But keep in mind that if you plan on shopping like there’s no tomorrow in this vintage store, you’ll need to bring a loaded wallet. The clothes are simply stunning, with designers including Hermés, Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent, and Celine.

This store is a must-see for anyone who misses the Old Celine and Phoebe Philo.

It exudes luxury and quality, and the minimalistic Nordic style for which Copenhageners are known is a major inspiration for this Copenhagen vintage store. There’s a good chance you’ll see a fashion it-girl here.

Time’s Up Vintage

From one fashion darling to another. Time’s Up Vintage has been placed on the list of the best vintage store around the world by the biggest players in the fashion industry including Vogue. And when you walk through the doors you understand why.

The fans of this store count celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Kanye West, and Lady Gaga who’ve already paid the unique vintage store a visit. It’s safe to say this is a treasury for all vintage fans.

The vintage store stocks unique vintage clothes for both men and women from brands such as Chanel, Valentine, Gucci, and YSL, as well as several non-designer pieces.

But that doesn’t mean the price range is out of reach if you don’t want to empty your wallet on a trip here. All of the items are of high quality, but there is something for every budget here.

Prag

Prag is the place to go if you are more of a “let’s go vintage crazy” type of person who appreciates very unique pieces. If you don’t care about the name of the brand on the item’s tag but appreciate how unique and sometimes bizarre an item can be, this is one of the best vintage stores in Copenhagen.

The store has several locations in Copenhagen and sells clothing for both men and women. Vintage metropolises such as Berlin and New York serve as inspiration. Everything from petticoats and bowties to jeans, dresses, colorful shirts, hats, and bags is available at the vintage shop. The variety is extensive, as is the uniqueness of the items.

Audrey Vintage

Want to take a quick trip to Â鶹APP without having to board a train? Then you should pay a visit to Audry Vintage. If breakfast and Tiffany’s, French glamour, and pearls are your style inspirations, you won’t find a better vintage store than this one.

The inspiration for this store, as the name suggests, is Audry Hepburn, and you can tell as soon as you walk in. The items are handpicked from Â鶹APP, and the styles are displayed beautifully in the store.

You’ll find vintage coats and blazers, silk shirts, and a plethora of pearls. When you enter Audry Vintage, it truly feels like you’ve stepped back in time, making it one of the best vintage stores in Copenhagen.

Keiko

Even though the store is small, you can easily lose track of time browsing through the handpicked, one-of-a-kind pieces and accessories from around the world. If you’re a fan of 90’s street style or looking for a unique new look, Keiko is a must-see.

As soon as you enter the cozy shop, you can tell that this place is the undisputed king of funky vintage clothes, and it is easy to see that the store is a tribute to the Berlin vintage stage. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful, making a visit there even more enjoyable.

Definitely one of Copenhagen’s best vintage stores for funky and unique vintage clothing.

Loppeshoppen

Loppeshoppen is the place to go if you want to get a good deal while also making an impact. Essentially, this is a thrift store, not a vintage store, but if we include thrift stores, this is one of the best thrift stores in Copenhagen.

The shop is run entirely by volunteers, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. There is space here for a chat and a cup of coffee while you browse through all the (very affordable) items.

When you buy something from the store, the profit is used to develop and support Diakoniststiftelsen’s social activities and projects, so your money is going to a good cause.

Magnolia

Magnolia is an elegant second-hand treasury located in the heart of Copenhagen’s city center. Vintage high-end fashion items from all the biggest fashion brands, such as Dior, Balmain, and Balenciaga, can be found in a basement right next to Strget.

This vintage shop carries almost every high-end brand. However, if you’ve chosen an item from the Copenhagen secondhand store, you must act quickly because Magnolia is not a well-kept fashion secret. Many people enjoy visiting this vintage pearl and perusing its beautiful items.

However, it remains one of the best vintage stores in Copenhagen for luxury vintage.

Veras

Veras is a female-driven circular fashion world. The method’s objective is to promote a rotating utilization routine, and the shop also aims to reduce textile waste. This is accomplished through a variety of initiatives, including the sale of vintage and used clothing.

The store also allows you to rent clothes and swap them with what you have at home. Veras also hosts a number of flea markets during the summer and spring, where sellers can find new homes for their unwanted clothing.

O.S.V Second Hand

The name O-S-V is Danish for “and so on,” and it embodies the vintage store’s vision of giving old clothes new life. The store has created a cozy and safe environment where you will enjoy spending time looking for vintage treasures.

Don’t worry, you can bring your boyfriend/ girlfriend because the store has a 50/50 split of men’s and women’s clothing. This isn’t your typical thrift store, nor is it a high-end vintage shop, but something in between. The style, look, and feel of the item are more important here than the brand.
