The carton Creativity Park was founded in 2009. This was by Mr. Huang Fangliang who is the general manager of Jintang Paper Products.

The park is located in lane 2, section 2 of Dongshan road in the Beitun District of Taichung City. It is open from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.

The park covers an area of 1600 square meters and can accommodate several visitors. The park was established to showcase different and endless creative products and structures that are made from the carton.

The park has all its structures and types of equipment made of corrugated carton materials. People travel from different parts of the country to have an experience and enjoy the creative art and crafts.

There are a lot of fun places and structures where children play. It’s a beautiful place to take photos and learn better ways of using cartons rather than disposing of them.

1. It is the First Paper-Based Theme Park in Taiwan

Carton King Creativity Park is the first paper-based theme park established in 2009. Almost everything in the park is made out of cardboard materials.

It creates an environment where arts and crafts are made using cartons while promoting creativity. Broken structures and features in the park are recycled to make other materials of cartons.

Local creative artists collaborate with Carton King to come up with new products and ideas to enhance the park.

2. Carton King has an Outdoor Park

The outdoor park of the Carton King Creativity Park is situated right from the entrance of the park.

The sight has beautiful features and structures such as the spiraling paper pinwheel. There are over one hundred pinwheels in various bright colors.

The park also exhibits the different architectural buildings of different countries made using corrugated materials of cartons. It also features the most famous landmarks around the world made using durable paper.

3. Carton King Park has a Sky Trail Structure

The Carton King Creativity Park has outstanding sky trails. The sky trail was constructed in 2016. It is nicknamed Dakeng Path.

Artists made the sky trail using wrought iron which is a very strong metal. The sky trail structure is constructed in such a way that it creates curvy forms giving the metal a soft feel.

It also includes a pumpkin carriage, curvy walkways, curvy staircases, mushroom and curvy walkways that are high about the building. It connects to different buildings that are within the park.

4. Iconic Architectural Buildings Are Exhibited within the park

The iconic architectural buildings of different countries are made of corrugated material.

Some of the structures exhibited include Windmill in the Netherlands, Dubai’s Burj Al Arab, the Leaning Tower Pisa, and Big Ben in London.

Further down the park, there is a replica exhibiting the Ancient Roman Theatre sitting on the rooftop of one of the buildings.

5. The Carton King Zoo is Found Inside the Park

The amazing animal kingdom inside the park has many kinds of animals that are made using corrugated cardboard.

It is the first site of attraction right from the entrance. Animal models of all animals are created which makes it a beautiful sight.

6. The Park possesses a Train made of Cardboard

The train made of cardboard moves around the park starting from the entrance and loops around the entire park. Children who visit the park enjoy most of the rides around the park.

From the train, one can have a good view of the park including the garden with beautiful restaurants, honey store, and souvenir store. The famous structure made of cardboard is also able to cross a man-made pond within the park.

7. The Souvenir Shop Sells the Creative Cardboard Materials

Some of the interesting arts and crafts made are sold to the general public in the Souvenir store. Some of the interesting materials made include music boxes, digital cameras, bedside lighting, chairs, and foldable binoculars.

The store also sells intriguing pieces of equipment like messenger bags and backpacks made out of paper. The shop displays unique designs of carton boxes that are produced for companies.

8. Cardboard Restaurant is Made from Corrugated Cartons

The cardboard restaurant is an amazing experience for the visitors to the park. The structure of the restaurant is made from corrugated cardboard.

Everything used in the restaurant is made from cardboard. Some of the materials made from cardboard include the shelves, lighting, tables, and chairs. The delicacies from the restaurant are also served using cardboard-made plates, spoons, and cups.

The park has a total of three dining areas in the park. One café is located near the exit, one is located beside the souvenir shop, and one café is located on the second floor of the souvenir shop.

The cardboard Art gallery in the Carton King Creativity Park plays the role of supporting artists in the production and selling of art crafts. Artists and visitors bring their products and can assemble them in the art gallery.

Some of the products put together in the art gallery include a stool, lighting and a rocking horse, a side table, and other paper-based products.

10. Carton King Creativity Park is a Tourist Site

The park attracts a huge number of tourists annually. People from different parts of the country go to enjoy the excellent work made from paper.

Both children and adults enjoy riding the cardboard-made train that moves around the park.

The park is an amazing work of art with phenomenon restaurants to have meals, a Souvenir store, and a honey store for the visitors.
