The theme park cost $4.4 billion to build, and the company was hoping to drive up demand for Pixar and its princess division.

The magic kingdom-style park takes up to 225 acres and costs $3.7 billion. The bigger theme park than Shanghai is Disney world Florida.

There are seven different lands in shanghai Disneyland namely; Tomorrowland, adventure isle, toy story land, treasure cove, mickey avenue, and garden of imagination.

The torn ride is found in the Tomorrow land, and it is a semi-closed launched steel motorbike roller coaster.

Walt Disney Imagineering created the torn ride motorbikes as a method of
specializing individual rider experience.

The torn ride reaches a speed of 60 miles per hour which is the fastest speed of any Disney roller coaster, and it takes riders inside and outside the attraction building.

When on board, the riders lean forward and grip a set of handlebars and a paddle situated being the seat which secures the rider in place. This rise offers a fantastic experience you don’t want to miss.

6. The Chinese zodiac inspires the garden of imagination

The Shanghai Disneyland ensured the Chinese heritage was well represented. A garden representing the Chinese 12 zodiac was made, known as the Garden of Twelve Friends.

The garden features a different Disney character to symbolize each member of the Chinese zodiac.
The zodiacs include; Remy the rate, Babe the Blue Ox, Tigger the Tiger, Thumper the Rabbit, Mushu the Dragon, Kaa the Snake, Maximus the Horse, Jolly Holiday Lambs the sheep, Abu the Monkey, Allan-A-Dale the Rooster, Plute the Dog, and Hamn the Pig.

The garden has a wandering Moon Teahouse, which offers Chinese food and dishes, and visitors get to enjoy the delicious meals

7. Shanghai Disneyland has a Toy Story-themed hotel

Shanghai Disneyland included a toy story-themed hotel where you and your family can stay while you’re visiting the theme park.

The hotel is shaped like an infinity symbol for the Buzz Light Year quote at the top and buzz a light year sculpture and themed beddings, shower curtains, and more.

The hotel has two sections; visitors who prefer Buzz lightyear can stay in that section and Woody fans can stay in the sheriff’s woody section.

8. Disneyland of shanghai serves Pepsi

It’s the only Disney Park that serves Pepsi instead of coca-cola. This was Pepsi’s goal to chip away from the coca-cola market by making a deal with shanghai Disneyland.

The Park even has souvenirs, Pepsi cans which are blue and gold and are stored inside special ceremonial boxes.

Shanghai Disneyland’s opening signaled the first time in 30 years that Pepsi had been served at a Disney Park.

9. Shanghai Disney has their themed airplane

The Park, in collaboration with China Eastern Airlines company, launched Disney themed airplane.

The flight is themed with the toy story characters on the inside, and the outside is painted blue with Mickey and Minnie Mouse Portraits on both sides.

The operating route of the plane is from Beijing to Shanghai, and also passengers can get Disney souvenirs.

10. It has limited entry

The Park uses a ticketing scheme to ensure that not too many people enter, to avoid having
many people beyond capacity.
The resort charges a peak ticket price on weekends and holidays.
