2. Take a trip to Elephant Trunk Hill

 it’s landmark tourist destination. The Elephant Trunk Hill is kind of a symbol of an international tourist city, Guilin . That uses this and the osmanthus flower as a city emblem.

The Summer Palace (Yíhé Yuán) has been   set  as a amid more than 700 acres of beautiful parkland. It’s one of China’s most visited attractions. The palace which  was built in 1153. It has a large lake which  has been added in the 14th century to enhance the Imperial Gardens.

Thee Summer Palace which was  once a playground for China’s imperial families who wanted to escape Beijing’s summer heat. That has been constructed in 1750. But the summer palace which was  was destroyed a hundred years later when the French and British had invaded Beijing.

Its restoration which  was not without controversy as the Empress Cixi embezzled funds from the Navy to build the Marble Boat, which really isn’t marble but wood painted to look like marble.

4. Take a trip to Potala Palace, Tibet

 This has been  China’s most recognizable historic structures which is the magnificent Potala Palace in the town of Lhasa, Tibet. It has been Constructed as a fortress  which was used as a residence for the Dalai Lama. The palace  which was used as a center of political and religious power for centuries. It’s  also contains many of the religion’s most important treasures.

The first of the two Potala Palaces, the Red Palace, which was  built in the 17th century. It’s  also contains the complex’s most important shrines. These can be  found in the Enthronement Hall, the walls of which are covered with murals depicting scenes from the lives of the Dalai Lamas and the Tibetan kings.

The middle pagoda which had been built by king Quan Fengyou during  the 824-840 AD. Its has  69.6 meters (227 feet) high. And is one of the tallest pagodas in China. The other two pagodas  which were built about a century later.

7. Have an adventure at Cruising the Li River, Guilin

it’s popular with tourists from around the world wanting to see this natural splendor up close. The best way to enjoy the area is to take a cruise along the Li River.

The most popular stretch is from Guilin to Yangshuo. This is where the river meanders peacefully through some 80 kilometers of remarkable rock formations and caves . And has  romantic names such as the Mount of Unique Beauty, Elephant Trunk Hill, and Reed Flute Cave.

8. Take a trip to Forbidden City & the Imperial Palace, Beijing

10. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Hunan

 Terracotta Army has a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. Each sculpture has its individual unique faces, hair and armor styles according to their rank. It has been  listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages.

The Temple of Heaven  which symbolize the relationship between heaven and earth. God’s world and human world which stands at the heart of Chinese cosmogony.

13.  Wander around  the  Lijiang Old Town

Tiger Leaping Gorge has been located  on the Yangtze River in southwestern China. About 15 km (9 miles) in length, the canyon passes through a series of rapids surrounded by mountains on both sides that sharply rise 3,000 meters (10,000 feet) above the river.

The Tiger Leaping Gorge which is considered  to be the deepest canyon in the world . The hiking trail through the gorge is one of the most accessible and satisfying in China, with dramatic scenery.

The hike which is  not to be taken lightly though.  There are accommodations along the way which are in the  guesthouses.

15.  Have a hike at Mount Huang

Mount Huang which is  one of China’s major tourist destinations. It has been the  mountain range in eastern China  which is also known as Huangshan . The area which is  well known for its scenery, sunsets, peculiarly shaped granite peaks and views of the clouds from above.

. There are many peaks that  appear to float on clouds and have very fanciful names such as 18 Arhats Worshipping the South Sea, Lotus Flower Peak, Celestial Capital and Paint Brush. In ancient times  there were almost 60,000 stone steps  which were carved into the side of the mountain range.

Victoria Harbour is one of the deepest container ports in the world. The bay offers stunning views of the skyscrapers of Hong Kong island on one side, and the Tsim Sha Tsui shoreline on the other.

Every night, there are many skyscrapers on both sides of Victoria Harbour who light up in a synchronized show. It is  known as one of the largest permanent light and sound festival in the world.
