This is the most significant mountain in Central Asia’s desert region. Coniferous forest that is evergreen. The Xueling Spruce Forest is located on the northern slope of the Tianshan Mountains in the low and medium mountains¡ªsubalpine mountains at an altitude of 1500 to 2800 meters, forming a continuous vertical mountainous forest belt.

The belt is interspersed with forests and mountain meadows, grasslands and shrubs.

The Xueling spruce has been around for 40 million years. On the Tianshan Mountains, they are living fossils. Since late October, the cold winds of Siberia have brought snowflakes to this location. There was nothing but silence behind the silver-clad veil.

The magnificent Xueling Spruce canopy resembled a majestic and orderly army formation. Its powerful momentum is astounding.

There is such a good place with poplar poplars, hundreds of birds roaring, flowers and bees flying, and azure water in the splendid countryside of the Taklimakan Desert. The four Forest Park characters are written on the towering gate archway. A park connects Luntai Oasis and Taklamakan, and the Tarim River draws the green hues to the east.

There are over 1,200 forest parks in the world, spread across over a hundred countries, but the desert poplar forest park is the only one. Luntai County is situated at the southern foot of the Tianshan Mountains and on the northern border of the Tarim Basin.

Over 400,000 acres of natural Populus euphratica forest exist, making it the world’s largest, densest, and longest-living “Tertiary living fossil.”

The Tarim River Basin’s Populus euphratica forest is a typical desert forest meadow vegetation type that extends from the upstream valley to the downstream dry riverbed. Despite its simple structure, Populus euphratica has a strong zonal ecological imprint.

Whether it is the rising or setting sun, it not only creates a sense of mystery, but it also influences how people interpret life and hope.

Facing the desert wonderland, you will start realizing that the first humans were people in the forest, and the forest provided everything for people’s lives. Only here do you realize you’re looking for human roots.
