Lise began her career at Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) where she accomplished many projects such as the Kunsthal Museum in Rotterdam and the Jussieu Library in Â鶹APP.

She also worked for Steven Holl Architects after quitting OMA and in this firm, she worked on a number of projects like the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City and the Chapel of St. Ignatius at Seattle University.
