Hassanal Bolkiah ibni Omar Ali Saifuddien III is the 29th and current Sultan of this Asian kingdom since 1967. Hassanal is also the Prime Minister of Brunei since 1984 when the country gained independence from the UK. He was once the richest person in the world but currently has a net worth of US $28 billion.
 
His extravagant wealth is exhibited in the number of cars he has and his extremely luxurious palace. He is the world’s longest-serving monarch and head of state for about 55 years.
 
Bolkiah has had three spouses throughout his life. He married his first wife Queen Saleha (Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha) in 1965. He then got married to Haja Mariam in 1982 and had a divorce in 2003. His third spouse was Azrinaz Mazhar, whom he married in 2005 and divorced in 2010.

Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah bin Hassanal Bolkiah is the crown Prince of Brunei. He is first in the line of succession to the throne, being the firstborn son of the Sultan. He is married to Sarah binti Salleh Ab-Rahaman.
 
He has four children, two daughters, and two sons. He is the senior minister of the Prime Minister’s Office and also the Deputy Inspector General of the Royal Brunei Police Force. He is also a General of the Royal Brunei Armed forces.

Paula is a famous television personality from Brunei. She was born to a Bruneian father and an English mother. Paula has been a veejay for Channel V and a presenter for Fox Sports Asia.
 
Moreover, she and her twin sister Jenny Malai Ali left Brunei and became part of the media fraternity in Malaysia and Indonesia. Besides, she is a celebrated radio presenter, a voice-over artist, and a stage actress. She has also personified positioning images for brands like Nescafe and Redken hair products.

Wu Chun is a Bruneian actor, model, former singer, director, and businessperson. He sang Bass in the Fahrenheit band (Taiwanese mandopop boyband) from 2005 to 2011.  During those years, his band signed with several record labels.
 
Furthermore, he has appeared in Taiwanese television series like Tokyo Juliet, Hot Shot, Romantic Princess, Sunshine Angel, and Kindaichi Case Files among others.
On top of that, he has been featured in films like Lady of the Dynasty, The Butterfly Lovers, and the Chinese drama Martial Universe.
 
What’s more, he was in a reality show with his daughter Nei Nei in 2014 called Dad is Back. He also was part of a reality TV show with his wife in 2020 called Before Wedding which was a great success in China.

His wealth is notable and once owned a huge art collection (the British Jeweller Asprey), the New York Palace Hotel, the Plaza Athenee in Âé¶¹APP, and the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles.
 
He faced embezzlement charges in 1997 when he was the finance minister. The case was resolved when he turned over his important investments to the government.

Saleha binti Mohamed Alam is the wife of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. Her parents were Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohammad Alam and Pengiran Anak Hajah Besar.
 
She became the queen consort (Raja Isteri) when her husband Hassanal Bolkiah became the Sultan. She is also the mother of the crown Prince, Al-Muhtadee Billah. She has six children with the Sultan. 

7. Prince Mohamed Bolkiah

 
Mohamed Bolkiah ibni Omar Ali Saifuddien III is Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah’s younger brother, he is the second born. He is the Head of Brunei viziers. He served as the country’s first foreign minister from independence to 2015.
 
The prince has served as the Minister of Brunei’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He is married to Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah, who is his first cousin, and together they have ten children. Prince Mohamed has written books like Remember the 8th of December, A Journey to 1962, and Time and the River. 

8. Majeedah Bolkiah

 
Princess Hajah Majeedah Nuurul Bulqiah is the fourth born of Sultan Hassanal and Queen Saleha. She married Pengiran Anak Khairul Khalil in 2007 and together they have two children.
 
Additionally, she serves at the Department of the Environment, Parks, and Recreation as the Senior Environment Officer.  Also, she is Head of the Planning and Management Division.

Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim of Brunei was the second son of Sultan Hassanal and Pengiran Isteri Hajah Mariam. He was fourth in line to the throne until he died in October 2020.
 
According to his family, the Prince had been suffering from systemic vasculitis since early 2020. He died at the age of 38. Before his death, he designed unisex bags and championed charity events for people with autism. He was also a producer of the London-based film You’re not You. He was also outed as gay, an allegation he did not deny. 

10. Craig Adams

 
Craig is a former professional ice hockey player. He last played for the Pittsburgh National Hockey League team called the Penguins. Craig was born in Seria, Brunei, and grew up in Canada.
 
He lived and played hockey in the Lake Bonavista community. He has played for the Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks, and the Pittsburgh Penguins from 1999 to 2015. He won the Stanley Cup twice in 2006 and 2009.
