1. Roberto Firmino childhood
Roberto Firmino Barbosa de Oliveira was born on October 2, 1991 in Maceio, Alagoas in Brazil. The community he grew up in was crime-infested, but his parents were very protective of him and did not give him much freedom.
Most young Brazilian boys love football; Firmino grew up playing and loving football. He found his freedom in playing football.

When Firmino was 14, he joined the Club de Regatas Brasil youth academy. He started playing for the youth team in local competitions, and his good performance got the eye of a dentist named Marcellus Portella.
The dentist recommended him to his friends in charge of the Figueirense football club youth academy. He was signed to the youth club in 2008, aged 17, where he played mostly as a defensive midfielder.
He made his first professional debut for the team on October 24, 2009, and was a half-time substitute against Ponte Preta. In January 2010, he was promoted to Figueirense’s first team member.
He scored his first professional goal on May 8, 2010, netting the winner in an away game against Sao Caetano. Firmino contributed eight goals in 36 appearances during the season as he returned to Serie A.

As a footballer, he plays primarily as an attacking midfielder and a second striker. He is also used as a forward, winger or central midfielder, using his speed, close control and vision wherever he is deployed.

Firmino disclosed that it was his dream to play for the national team. He made his first international debut for Brazil in 2014 when he received a call for a friendly match against Turkey and Austria.
From then he started being featured in the Brazil national team games. In June 2021, he was in Brazil’s team squad for the 2021 Copa America on home soil. He made a substitute appearance in his nation’s 1-0 defeat to rivals Argentina in the final on 10 July.
6. He Played for Hoffenheim
Firmino was signed with Hoffenheim in December 2012 with a contract running until June 2015. He made his first debut in a Bundesliga defeat against Mainz, where he came on as a 75th-minute substitute for Sebastian Rudy.
He scored his first goal on April 16, 2011, the only goal of a league victory against Eintracht Frankfurt. At the end of November, he, alongside Chinedu Obasi, were dropped from the first team because of showing up late for training and missing the league match against Bayer Leverkusen.
On March 27, 2014, he extended his contract in Hoffenheim for three years and finished the 2013-2014 season as the fourth highest scorer with 16 goals and was named the league’s Breakthrough player.

Premier League Liverpool signed Firmino on June 23, 2015, and the deal was finalized on July 4, 2015.
