Salman Shah was born on 19^th September 1971 in Zakiganj, Sylhet, East Pakistan which is currently Bangladesh. Shahriar Chowdhury Emon was his name of birth while Salman Shah was his stage name.

He married a beautiful lady, Samira who was also an actress but the couple didn鈥檛 have any children. He is especially known for his successful career as a Bangladesh television and film actor.

Shah was the eldest son in the family and attended his primary school education at Barya Model High School. He also attended the Arab Mission School where he completed SSC from the school in 1987. Shah received his education degree from Maleka Science College and he also completed HSC from the college of Adamji Cantonment.

He starred in many successful movies during the early 90s having acted in 27 films in his career. He was considered the greatest and most evergreen actor in the entire Bangladesh cinema during his era.

1. Salman鈥檚 Wife Samira was also an Actress

Salman Shah was married to one beautiful lady, Samira Huq on 12^th August 1992. The marriage life between the couple lasted for just about four years before Shah鈥檚 death.

Although the world figures had no children, they lived together until the day Salman Shah passed on. Samira Huq was the daughter of the captain of a cricket team Shafiqul Haq Hira which was based in Bangladesh.  

2. Salman Shah Experienced Intense Marital Dispute

Salman Shah experienced a tremendous marital dispute with his wife, Samira where he claimed that he was unsatisfied with his wife. Shah claimed that there were very many reasons behind being discounted by his wife.

The situation was so intense that before his death, he called his uncle-in-law to inform him that he wanted to divorce Samira. This was used as one of the clues behind the death of Salman Shah.

3. He Began His Career in Bengali Drama and Commercial Advertisements

Salman Shah began working in several Bengali Dramas as well as commercial advertisements just before his successful career in acting.

He was also made to act in a music video for the magazine known as 鈥淜othar Kotha鈥� by Hanif Sanket at the end of the 1980 decade.

During the casting of the video music, he worked as a model. The video music became very popular amongst the people but he was forgotten as his appearance was irregular.

4. He is Regarded as the Most Popular Actor of his Generation

Salman Shah has not only been very successful in his career as an actor but he has been regarded as the most popular actor of his generation.

Salman Shah Memorial Council also organizes yearly festivals on his birth anniversary. He has been featured in very many popular films that have made him very prominent.

5. He Got a Breakthrough from the Role of Raj in the Film 鈥淜eyamat Theke Keyamat鈥�

After Shah was featured in the music video during the 1980s his popularity broke through after the film 鈥淜eyamat Theke Keyamat鈥�.

The film was officially released on 25^th March 1993, with the film running for 160 minutes. The film is a Bangladesh music romantic drama that was released during the Eid vacation and gained popularity all over the city.

Salman Shah and Moushumi were the two main leads and later became movie stars in Bangladesh. During the cast, Salman Shah played the role of Raj.

6. Salman Shah鈥檚 Death was Controversial

Shah died on 6^th September 1996 when he was found hanging from the ceiling of his bedroom in Dhaka.

According to the police in charge of the investigations, they concluded the matter to be a suicide. Salman Shah鈥檚 Family objected to the matter by claiming that it was a murder case.

However, the rope that was found on his neck was different from the rope on the fan. This was clear evidence that it was a murder and someone might have murdered him.

7. His Wife Later Remarried his Friend, Mushtaq

After the death of Salman Shah in 1996, his wife Samira remarried his close friend Mushtaq Wise. Although Samira did not have any children before the death of Salman Shah, she had a son and two daughters in Mushtaq鈥檚.

The couple was very happy together as it was demanded in the media by Samira and Mushtaq. Despite Samira being married for the second time, she was later remarried for the third time.

8. The Police Bureau of Investigation Pronounced his Death as Suicide

After a long time of controversy about the mysterious death of Salman Shah, finally, the case was concluded on 24^th February 2020. The Police Bureau of Investigation concluded the matter and claimed that Shah killed himself.

They reported that he killed himself after a dispute over an affair he had with an actress at the time, Shabnur.

9. Salman Shah was Featured in Several Film

Salman Shah starred in many films from 1993 till his death in 1996. Some of the films include; 鈥淪ujon Sokhi鈥� in 1994, where he played the role of Sujon and the film was directed by Shah Alam Kiran.

鈥淧rem Juddho鈥� in 1994, where he acted in the role of Raja, and the film was directed by Jibon Rahman and 鈥淜eyamat Theke Keyamat鈥� in 1993, where he played the role of Raj.

10. Shah Starred in Several Television Shows

Shah has been featured in a variety of television shows include; Akash Chowa in 1985 which was his first appearance in front of the camera.

He played the role of Rabbi in the show 鈥淪hoikote Sharosh鈥� in 1988. He featured in the show 鈥淧athor Shomoy鈥� in 1990. In 1995, he starred in the show 鈥淣oyon鈥� playing the role of Sultan/ Raj.

Salman Shah has been very prominent in his great career in acting where he has been featured in different television shows and films.

He however had several controversies in his marriage which led him to commit suicide in his house. His wife was also remarried by his friend and also later remarried again for the third time.
