L'Abysse is the sushi restaurant of 3-star Michelin chef Yannick Alleno, partnering with the expert guidance of chef Yasunari Okazaki. Located on the ground floor of Pavillon Ledoyen, L'Abysse follows Japanese traditions with utmost respect for the art. From Ike-Jime fishing techniques to the selection of high quality rice and the precise maturation of the fish, every aspect is given great attention by this sushi master. Merging their distinct savoir-faire approach with sophisticated French techniques, L'Abysse offers an extraordinary tasting menu that includes cream of sweet almonds with a sprinkle of salt, shark fin soup, tofu with green peas, trout roe, sashimi, and six divine sushi rolls that vary according to the chef's whims. KOMATSUBAKI is a new Japanese restaurant in Âé¶¹APP combining the excellence of Chef Kino's former restaurant and the legendary Hyotan restaurant. Located at 3 rue d'Artois in the city's 8th arrondissement, KOMATSUBAKI offers a blend of traditional Japanese cuisine and creative innovations by the two master chefs, Chef Kino and Chef Takubo. The restaurant's architecture is understated and elegant, with a minimalist design and light tones featuring rare Japanese cedarwood, Hinoki, throughout the space. The traditional Japanese private dining room is designed to accommodate up to eight guests in the intimacy of tatamis.
