Moreover, the Australian Financial Review estimated his net worth to be A$27.25 billion as of May 2021.  Meanwhile, Forbes estimated his net worth to be $13.7 billion in the same month.

 He has also been involved in a variety of philanthropic activities, including the establishment of two foundations to help disadvantaged communities in Australia, and has been involved in the Australian start-up scene for more than a decade.

2. Scott Farquhar – Co-founder of Atlassian

Scott Farquhar is an Australian entrepreneur, billionaire, and co-founder of the technology company Atlassian. He founded the company with Mike Cannon-Brookes in 2002. However, his one of Australia’s most successful entrepreneurs. Farquhar was ranked fifth on Forbes’ list of Australia’s 50 Richest People in 2019 with a net worth of US$6.40 billion. In addition, with a net worth of A$20 billion, he was ranked fifth on the Financial Review 2021 Rich List. 

His entrepreneurial career has been driven by his mission to make software development simpler and more accessible for everyone.  Thus, he is a significant investor in technology startups through Skip Capital, a privately held investment fund.  Farquhar has also been involved in numerous philanthropic activities, including his role as the chairman of the Atlassian Foundation.

3. Andrew Forrest – Founder of Fortescue Metals Group

Andrew Forrest is an Australian entrepreneur and philanthropist. He I  considered to be one of Australia’s most successful entrepreneurs This was possible when he invested a  fortune in the mining industry. Forrest is well known for being the founder and chairman of Fortescue Metals Group. It is one of the world’s leading iron ore producers.

In addition to his business success, Forrest has also become a major philanthropic figure in Australia. His philanthropic effort was noticed when he donated more than $400 million to various causes.
