variety of different grapes year round and come October it is time for these grapes to be harvested. As a long standing tradition within the village, the harvest brings with it a five day long festival for the public to enjoy. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Both the festival and the vineyard are very special components within the Montmartre ecosystem. In the past this has been done through the expression of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-places-to-dance-in-paris\/\">dance<\/a>, however each year can be done differently. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">An event called \u201cNamaste Montmartre\u201d was recently added to the festival program. It is an interactive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/best-yoga-classes-in-paris\/\">yoga<\/a> session that is open to adults and children of all ages. Professionals are on site to coordinate the session and make appropriate adjustment to poses where necessary. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p8\"><span class=\"s1\">4. The Montmartre Vineyard Only Produces Around 1000 Bottles of Wine Per Year<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">When I referred to the wine produced by the annual harvest as \u201crare\u201d, I meant it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The very compact nature of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top10\/5-great-facts-about-the-vineyard-of-montmartre-in-paris\/\">Montmartre Vineyard<\/a> means that it is only able to produce between 1000 and 1700 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-fun-facts-about-french-wine\/\">bottles of wine<\/a> per year at best.
