Their escargot is some of the best in town. Many choose to take their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/city\/paris-walking-tours\/\"><span class=\"s4\">free guided walking tour<\/span><\/a>s up to the Sacre Coeur and then make their own way down the back to get to this brasserie for lunch. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I recommend sharing the cheese platter and a bottle of house wine, provided you are dining with another person. If dining alone then the burgers are well portioned. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I will say that Le Caf\u00e9 de la Poste is a tough one for vegetarians and especially <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-best-vegan-burgers-in-paris\/\">vegans<\/a>. It is right at the foot, where Montmartre meets the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-bars-in-pigalle\/\">Pigalle<\/a> strip \u2014 it is also officially the oldest brasserie in the district. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">It was opened back in 1879 and over the years became of of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/5-fascinating-facts-about-picasso\/\">Pablo Picasso<\/a>\u2019s favorite brasseries in Â鶹APP in which to enjoy a drink or two.
