On weekends you\u2019ll have to queue to get in here. This was also the actual bistro where the word \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/what-is-a-real-parisian-bistro\/\">bistro<\/a>\u201d was coined many, many years ago. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">3. <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Partries at the Place du Tertre <\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">French cuisines wouldn\u2019t be complete with the accompaniment of fresh baked <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-pastries-to-try-while-in-paris\/\">pastries<\/a>. On the southern end of the Place du Tertre is the bakery of <em>Carette<\/em>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Ironically, this spot makes better cr\u00eapes than the actual cr\u00eaperie in the square \u2014 but that\u2019s a story for another day!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Enjoy coffee and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/a-guide-to-pains-aux-raisins-in-paris\/\">tarts<\/a> while watching the day go by at <em>Carette<\/em>. Late Night Food <\/span><span class=\"s1\">at the Place du Tertre<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">One thing I love about the Place du Tertre is that the space stays open late into the evening, even after all of the square\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-parisian-artists-of-the-lost-generation\/\">artists<\/a> have restarted for the night. Most of the restaurants are still serving guests at 2am, and the bars in the space open until even later than that. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><em>La Boh\u00e8me du Tertre<\/em> is my personal favorite spot to head to for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/5-unmissable-midnight-strolls-to-take-in-paris\/\">late night<\/a> meal. You can\u2019t miss it, with its large blue and white awnings that jut out into the square. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This is a beautiful cafe with many <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-best-vegan-burgers-in-paris\/\">vegan<\/a> and vegetarian options on the menu. Cocktails <\/span><span class=\"s1\">at the Place du Tertre<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Meals can come in liquid form as well, you know? <em>Le Sabot Rouge<\/em> is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-best-cocktail-bars-paris\/\">cocktail<\/a> bar of the Place du Tertre and is a cozy little spot to stop by for a creative drink between sightseeing in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top10\/top-5-favorite-places-to-stay-in-montmartre\/\">Montmartre<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If sweet drinks are not your forte, the bar also offers an impressive collection of French wines that you can indulge in. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">8. <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Pizza at the Place du Tertre<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">To enjoy a relatively well done rendition of the famous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-italian-restaurants-in-paris\/\">Italian<\/a> dish you\u2019ll have to head backs to <em>Au Clairon Des Chasseurs<\/em>. This is the only restaurant in the square offering proper pizza options. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-best-pizza-in-paris\/\">pizza<\/a> is not the main focus of the menu it can sometimes take a bit more time to get to the table.
