My first home in the city of love and my first real taste of what <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/a-guide-to-pains-aux-raisins-in-paris\/\">Â鶹APP<\/a> was. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As far as the Â鶹APPian charm, whimsey and general beauty goes \u2014 Montmartre has it all. It is also slightly out of the city center which makes it an appealing place to stay when visiting Â鶹APP. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">All through the streets of this hillside village you\u2019ll enjoy ample bars, cafes, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/10-unmissable-bookstores-in-paris\/\">bookstores<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/insiders-guide-to-vintage-shopping-in-paris\/\">vintage shopping<\/a> and some of the best <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-places-to-eat-crepes-in-paris\/\">crepes<\/a> of your life. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Here are the top five places to look at when in need of accommodation in Montmartre. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"s1\">1. Hotel Montmartre Mon Amour in Montmartre <\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">7 Rue Paul Albert<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This hotel makes my top five list but does need a bit of a disclaimer before you make your booking. As you may have guessed from the name, the Hotel Mon Amour centers itself around the theme of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-10-things-people-love-paris\/\">love<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">An apt subject when in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/paris-for-lovers\/\">city of love<\/a>, the hotel celebrates the theme from the interior design of the space right through to the buffet foods served at daily breakfast. Each space comes with its own \u201clovebox\u201d kit that includes fun objects and note cards to make ones stay even more romantic. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The hotel is right at the top of Montmartre hill, next to the Sacre Cover church. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/city\/paris-walking-tours\/\"><span class=\"s3\">free guided walking tour<\/span><\/a> would be ideal to start from up here and work your way down to the bottom where Montmartre eventually meets <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/discover-paris-hidden-secrets-of-pigalle\/\">Pigalle<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Average Price: \u20ac120 per night<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nearest Metro Line: Chateau Rouge<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s4\">2. <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Hotel Particulier in Montmartre<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I find it hard to make any comparative list about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/hidden-gems-in-montmartre\/\">Montmartre<\/a> without somehow including the Hotel Particulier in the roundup. From having the best hotel bar to also having the best hotel garden \u2014 Hotel Particulier is the obvious choice for places to stay when in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-non-touristy-restaurants-in-montmartre\/\">Montmartre<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The hotel is built into an old suburban townhouse. It was once owned by the affluent Herm\u00e8s and Rothschild families. The interior still reflects this, with opulent light fixtures and expensive velvet finishes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This is the place to stay when you want to remain somewhat anonymous during the living portion of your time in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-best-art-classes-to-take-in-paris\/\">Â鶹APP<\/a>. Once you\u2019re through the gates the rest of the world simply ceases to exist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Average Price: \u20ac300 per night<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nearest Metro Line: Lamrack-Caulaincourt<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p7\"><span class=\"s1\">3. H\u00f4tel Josephine in Montmartre <\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p8\"><span class=\"s1\">67 Rue Blanche<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Hotel Josephine is technically part of Montmartre although most would classify its proximity to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/things-near-moulin-rouge\/\">Moulin Rouge<\/a> as strictly Pigalle territory. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The hotel is within a few minutes walking distance from the main <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/10-things-to-see-in-pigalle\/\">Pigalle<\/a> strip. This very small and very private museum is not to be missed during your time in this district.
