Masters, young-at-heart baby-boomer, born in San Rafael near San Francisco, California.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/elaine-cintia-soto-sq1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/elaine-cintia-soto-sq1.jpg\" alt=\"Elaine Cintia Soto \" width=\"650\" height=\"650\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Why did you start writing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tripwellgal.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>tripwellgal<\/strong><\/a>?<\/h4>\n<p>I stumbled into blogging in 2010! It was part of my author&#8217;s platform originally as I&#8217;d published Drivetime Yoga and Flytime Yoga. However, I soon learned that while taking care of oneself while driving and flying is important, I was more of a storyteller than a therapist!<\/p>\n<h4>Why did you start traveling?<\/h4>\n<p>I flew on my mother&#8217;s lap from San Francisco to Hibbing, Minnesota for my grandfather&#8217;s funeral at 9 months old. It must&#8217;ve thrilled me then! I then grew up taking long road trips around the United States, into Canada and deep into Mexico during school breaks. In my twenties, I took 6 months to backpack around the world and still jump at the chance to explore my region or the planet.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/d.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/d.jpg\" alt=\"traveling\" width=\"650\" height=\"813\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>What&#8217;s special about your blog?<\/h4>\n<p>It&#8217;s full of stories about traveling well and uncovering unique places. I always work to add tips and not just lists of things to do or places to eat. As an author and award-winning writer, I like to think the writing draws you into the experience and makes you want to travel more.<\/p>\n<h4>What would be your top 3 things to do when traveling in European cities?<\/h4>\n<p>My best tip is to walk. It&#8217;s really the best way I&#8217;ve found to explore the world&#8217;s great cities. In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/city\/paris-walking-tours\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Â鶹APP<\/b><\/a>, I spent days walking from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/paris-walking-tours\/paris-landmarks\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Op\u00e9ra<\/b><\/a> District through the covered walkways towards the river. It was like walking back in time. In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/city\/barcelona-walking-tours\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Barcelona<\/b><\/a>, walking the markets and parks, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/barcelona-walking-tours\/ramblas-barri-gotic\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Barri G\u00f2tic<\/b><\/a> and into the churches was the best way to connect with locals and discover experiences that never get into guide books. In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/city\/london-walking-tours\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>London<\/b><\/a>, walk to really experience the jumble of shiny new and historical treasures. I&#8217;d love to spend more time in the Shoreditch district shop and gallery crawling too.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/10-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/10-1.jpg\" alt=\"traveling\" width=\"650\" height=\"975\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Your Top 3 good addresses in Â鶹APP?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/paris-walking-tours\/skip-line-picasso-museum-marais-art-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Pompidou Center<\/b><\/a> and plaza is so vibrant and unique. From jugglers, musicians and modern art it&#8217;s an exciting place to explore &#8211; plus that architecture!<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t just look at the glass pyramid in the Louvre plaza, enter it from below and marvel at the light. Not all the art is in the galleries!<\/li>\n<li>Walk the riverfront and across the bridges. Drink in those views!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Your favorite landmark in Â鶹APP?<\/h4>\n<p>The Mus\u00e9e Rodin is a personal favorite. His work is so sensual and massive it&#8217;s almost sinful!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/b.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/b.jpg\" alt=\"landmark\" width=\"650\" height=\"978\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>What is your favorite neighborhood in Â鶹APP?<\/h4>\n<p>I wandered up to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/paris-walking-tours\/montmartre-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Montmartre<\/b><\/a> and the Sacr\u00e9-Coeur cathedral by myself one cold fall day during the Beaujolais Festival. What a party!<\/p>\n<h4>Could you give us your recommendation to first timers in Â鶹APP?<\/h4>\n<p>It&#8217;s touristy but I&#8217;d recommend a bus tour, hop on and off, to acquaint yourself with the city and spend the rest of the trip returning to the places that you found most fascinating. Get out of the city to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/city\/versailles-walking-tours\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Â鶹APP<\/b><\/a>, if possible, for a sense of history and marvel at how the aristocracy once lived.
