The markets that I know best\u2014so far!\u2014are in France since I spent months researching them for my books. I was born in York, Pennsylvania. Some of my earliest memories involve going to the market with my mother who was interested in healthy and local foods. That got me hooked. I live in Boston and spend considerable time on the south coast of Massachusetts.<\/p>\n<h4>Why did you start writing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marjorierwilliams.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">marjorierwilliams<\/a>?<\/h4>\n<p>To create a place where I can share what I discovered during my travels and in my home region. Also, to connect with others around the globe who share similar interests in food, markets, and travel.<\/p>\n<h4>Why did you start traveling?<\/h4>\n<p>It was partly work-related and largely pleasure! I\u2019ve always regarded travel as exciting and educational. Travel pushes us out of our comfort zone. The chance to explore unfamiliar places is not only fun but also makes us better people by exposing us to different cultures and understanding our own place in the world differently.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/dsc08888.jpg\" alt=\"record floodwaters with Zouave waist-deep in Seine 6.5.16\" width=\"650\" height=\"434\"><\/p>\n<h4>What&#8217;s special about your blog?<\/h4>\n<p>The expertise that I can provide about markets in Â鶹APP and Provence, and elsewhere in the world. My blog reflects my varied experiences and my enthusiasm for exploring.<\/p>\n<h4>What would be your top 3 things to do in Â鶹APP?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Pick a market destination for the morning (see &#8216;Markets of Â鶹APP&#8217; for details on which, when, and where).<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy a picnic lunch from provisions bought at the market.<\/li>\n<li>Sightsee around that neighborhood during the afternoon. If I can add a fourth, it would be to go to a caf\u00e9 and hang for a while.
