Because genuine advice and stories are so important to us, in addition to our born-and-raised Â鶹APPian tour stories, we now bring you <strong>real advice from fellow travelers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>Bonjour Michele and Ron, can you tell us more about who you are?<\/h4>\n<p>Michele is 55 and was born in Hastings, New Zealand and Ron is 53 and was born in Murwillumbah Australia. We currently live in Rocingham which is south of Perth in Western Australia.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/p1290066-2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Why did you start writing <a href=\"www.leggingit.com.au\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>leggingit<\/strong><\/a>?<\/h4>\n<p>We started blogging on an online platform in 2009 when we were going on a trip to the UK. Our audience started with family and friends but grew quickly. We continued to blog our holidays there until we started planning our big adventure. We then realised that it would be better to have our own platform so Legging It was born.<\/p>\n<h4>Why did you start traveling?<\/h4>\n<p>Our first trip together was our honeymoon in 2000, we went to Singapore and Malaysia. This trip made us realise there was so much of the world to explore so our passion was born. Being so close to Asia we are able to get there quite cheaply so have spent many holidays there over the years. Our long term travel adventure idea came to us while on holidays in Vietnam and we just decided to go for it.<\/p>\n<h4>What&#8217;s special about your blog?<\/h4>\n<p>Our blog documents the adventures and experiences of a 50 something couple who decide to head of on a motorcycle and explore Europe. We are not adventure motorcyclists&#8230;the reality is we had never spent much time on a motorbike at all but decided it was what we wanted to do and off we went. We are now advocating a lifestyle of less things&#8230;more experiences so blog about experiences and events both local and international.<\/p>\n<h4>What would be your top 3 things to do in Â鶹APP?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Sunset from the Eiffel Tower, book online and just arrive in time to see the sun set and Â鶹APP become a city of lights.<\/li>\n<li>Wandering through the Gardens, stop and enjoy the cafes, the music and take time to sit and enjoy a book with the locals.<\/li>\n<li>Exploring the streets of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/paris-walking-tours\/montmartre-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\">Montmartre<\/a>, every street has something to discover, art markets, quirky cafes and of course amazing food&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/p1100617-2.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<h4>Your Top 3 good addresses in Â鶹APP?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Le Caf\u00e9 du Commerce (51 rue du commerce, 75015) \u2013 Where you can enjoy local specialties, for a reasonable price in beautiful surroundings.<\/li>\n<li>McDonalds in Champs Elys\u00e9es. while not the normal recommendation but here you can enjoy cheap coffee (about a quarter of the price if other places along there) and sit out on the street and enjoy people watching.<\/li>\n<li>Pavillon De La Fontaine in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/paris-walking-tours\/left-bank\/\" target=\"_blank\">Luxembourg Gardens<\/a> \u2013 a not so cheap coffee but great views and if you are lucky enough there may be music in the Band Stand.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Your favorite landmark in Â鶹APP?<\/h4>\n<p>The Eiffel Tower is our favourite place, it is so majestic the way it overlooks the city and it looks so different seeing it by day and night. Whenever you capture a glimpse it always makes me smile.<\/p>\n<h4>What is your favorite neighborhood in Â鶹APP?<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/paris-walking-tours\/montmartre-tour\/\">Montmartre<\/a> is our favourite area, it is so unassuming but full of life.
