Because genuine advice and stories are so important to us, in addition to our born-and-raised Â鶹APPian tour stories, we now bring you <strong>real advice from fellow travelers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>Bonjour Rebecca, can you tell us more about who you are?<\/h4>\n<p>Bonjour, I&#8217;m Rebecca Plotnick, I am 34 years old and originally from Cincinnati, Ohio.<\/p>\n<h4>Why did you start writing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.everydayparisian.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>everydayparisian<\/a>?<\/h4>\n<p>I started my current blog as a way to share my life. I lived in Â鶹APP and now I live back in Chicago. I am homesick for Â鶹APP every day. I was a junior in college and studied in Florence. I was bitten by the travel bug and knew right then I had to find a way to travel and see the world.<\/p>\n<h4>What&#8217;s special about your blog?<\/h4>\n<p>My blog has an audience all over the world. I am able to reach a wide age range of Francophiles some who have been once dream of going or are planning their first trip to Â鶹APP. It\u2019s a community.<\/p>\n<h4>What would be your top 3 things to do in Â鶹APP?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Get lost in Â鶹APP. <strong>Throw away the map and see where the city takes you<\/strong>. It\u2019s a little bar in the shape of a horseshoe. It has the most amazing people watching. I don\u2019t really go for the food or coffee but people like it. They have a good cheese plate. You could sit here for hours and it would be the beat the best thing you watched on TV all year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shakespeare and Company<\/strong> on the left bank across from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/paris-walking-tours\/notre-dame-and-the-heart-of-paris-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Notre Dame<\/b><\/a>. Explore all of the floors and get lost in the books.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Bastille Market on a Sunday<\/strong>. Make a picnic and take it to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/paris-walking-tours\/trendy-marais-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Place des Vosges<\/b><\/a> just a few minutes away.<\/p>\n<h4>Your favorite landmark in Â鶹APP?<\/h4>\n<p>The favorite building of Â鶹APP would probably be <strong>the Eiffel tower<\/strong>. It\u2019s so clich\u00e9 but she represents Â鶹APP. You can view her from different vantage points around the city and at night every hour on the hour she sparkles. I love the museums don\u2019t get me wrong but part of Â鶹APP is enjoying the parks and caf\u00e9s and that is all outside.<\/p>\n<h4>What is your favorite neighborhood in Â鶹APP?<\/h4>\n<p>That is a tough question! I love the tiny corners and streets. Â鶹APP in the early morning when the city is just mine is my favorite. I walk and get lost and watch the sun rise on the Seine. If it rains you can visit the museums but the best way to see the city is through the eyes of a local. If you can find someone that lives there or grab a coffee at a local bar and ask the man behind the bar or people sitting next to you at a caf\u00e9 what is something not to miss. The locals will lead you the way. The Eiffel tower is best viewed at the Trocadero.
