This restaurant is totally the contrary: you will eat here in a Cistercian convent from the XIIIth century, totally renovated by the city, which is absolutely beautiful! They also organize free visits between 10 am and 6 pm (Monday-Saturday), and between 2 pm and 6 pm on Sundays. The lunches are very cheap (only 9\u20ac90 for the dish of the day + dessert, or first course + dish of the day) thanks to the delicatessen Tables of Canaa, which are helping the local economy. I advise you to go there, it&#8217;s a secret spot for students but also for a lot of artists &#8211; and it&#8217;s not touristic at all. The only problem is that the restaurant is closed in the evenings. But for a lunch, it would be perfect! You can also just have a snack in the morning, or the afternoon, with some pastries or a caf\u00e9. Finally, if the setting is not wonderful enough for you (Which will probably not be the case), takeaway food is available. Bon app\u00e9tit!<\/p>\n<p><em>Le Couvent des Bernardins<br \/>\n20, rue de Poissy, 75005 Â鶹APP<br \/>\nM\u00e9tro: Cardinal-Lemoine (Line 10)<br \/>\nEvery day, 10 am &#8211; 6 pm (until 8 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).<br \/>\nNo reservation needed.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>2.) A typical bistro for a lunch and for less than 20\u20ac: Au Passage<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/au-passage.jpg\" alt=\"au-passage\" width=\"650\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There is no secret: the cheap restaurants in Â鶹APP are more bistros than gastronomic restaurants! Au Passage is typical of these French bistros and restaurants: the room is little, it&#8217;s noisy and it&#8217;s so pleasant inside! The cooker is English but the cook is French and elaborated. It&#8217;s absolutely delicious and really cheap! For a complete lunch (first course + dish + dessert), count only 17\u20ac, it&#8217;s a very good spot in this quarter. It&#8217;s also English friendly and unforgettable if you are searching for a very French address! Not so far from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/paris-walking-tours\/trendy-marais-tour\" target=\"_blank\"><b>the Marais<\/b><\/a>, it&#8217;s a nice way to eat without paying a lot in a touristic restaurant. It&#8217;s the contrary here, because it&#8217;s almost hidden and impossible to find if you ignore the address! A reservation could be necessary.<\/p>\n<p><em>Au Passage<br \/>\n1 bis Passage St-S\u00e9bastien, 75011 Â鶹APP<br \/>\nM\u00e9tro St-S\u00e9bastien-Froissard (Line 8)<br \/>\nMonday &#8211; Friday 12 &#8211; 2 pm, and Monday-Saturday 8 pm &#8211; 11 pm<br \/>\nReservation recommended: 01.73.20.23.23.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>3.) Delicatessen between Montmartre and Gare du Nord for a little budget: Les Pipalottes Gourmandes<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/pipalottes.jpg\" alt=\"pipalottes\" width=\"650\" \/><\/p>\n<p>What a nice cheap restaurant in Â鶹APP! Les Pipalottes Gourmandes is just in the South of Montmartre and my favorite spot after a walk near to the Sacr\u00e9-Coeur, or after arrival at the train station of Gare du Nord. The ambiance is very nice (looks like a tiny bistro, so cute!) and the waiters are adorable. The wines are delicious and very cheap. For lunch, you can have a dish + dessert for 16\u20ac90 and the portions are very generous &#8211; you will not be hungry after that! It is run by a family and everyone wants to give the best. The quality and the setting is cheap, and in a nice quarter: definitely a good address! If you fall totally in love with the products, it&#8217;s also a drugstore with good products. If you prefer the brunches, this one is particularly great for a nice Sunday morning.
