For those visiting Rome, I will recommend a few\u00a0 iconic dolce\/pastry shops where you can savor some of the Eternal City’s most remarkable sugar pleasures.<\/p>\n

So if you enjoy sweets, here is where you should go:<\/p>\n

Founded in 1938, this coffee shop is one of the most famous pastry shops of Rome, and is located just a few meters away from the Pantheon. The cafeteria has\u00a0 proudly preserved its historical feel through the years thanks to the antique furniture that it boasts. Most of the setting is the same like it was ‘back in the days’ . In fact, the wood-fueled coffee-roaster is one of the very few new additions to the coffee shop.<\/p>\n

The two owners, brothers Ramondo and Riccardo Ricci,\u00a0 have started the tradition in 1999, serving aromatic, traditional coffee that is frequently imported from organic growers.<\/p>\n

The best part of your coffee experience here comes when you choose to combine your espresso or latte cup with traditional Roman pastries.\u00a0 Your choice of sweets is tremendous – from fruity tarts to Sicilian cannoli and eclairs that are rich in chocolate and caramel. The creatively decorated sweets are all displayed for your viewing at the window.<\/p>\n

You can order coffee with a baked dolce at the bar, or just sit at a table in the open air and engage in people-watching. But don\u2019t forget that getting a table out means that you will be charged triple for your order.<\/p>\n

If you prefer creamy chocolate, you can opt for Kentucky (tobacco and dark chocolate flavors masterfully mixed together). Also, if you have an occasion to celebrate, choose Nonna’s Cake or an extra-large strawberry cake to place at the table.<\/p>\n

When it comes to pastries, we recommend Bombe alla Crema, one of Rome’s most popular dolcetti. Combine it all with a refreshing cup of an Italian cappuchino, or if you prefer stronger flavors, opt for an iconic Roman espresso.\u00a0 The deliciousness is all worth it, and the pastries are all reasonably priced!<\/p>\n
