Read on to find out <strong>the best way to visit the Orsay Museum<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<h4>Buy your tickets in advance!<\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/orsay_museum_hall.jpg\" alt=\"orsay museum hall\" width=\"650\" height=\"325\" \/><\/p>\n<p>First, if you don&#8217;t want to lose time, buy your entrance ticket before you go to the museum. You can buy it on the Orsay Museum official website and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiqets.com\/en\/paris-c66746\/muse-dorsay-dedicated-entrance-p973980?partner=discoverwalks\" data-eafl-id=\"13285\" data-eafl-parsed=\"1\" class=\"eafl-link eafl-link-text eafl-link-direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">on Tiqets website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A very useful information: for children under 18 it&#8217;s free and for young adults under 26 from the European Union, you also don&#8217;t need to buy a ticket!<\/p>\n<p>If you have a ticket, you can enter through <i>Gate C<\/i>, which is just next to the main entrance and where there are less people than on the other gate. If you don&#8217;t have tickets and if the main entrance is full of people, you can go to the <i><strong>Orangerie<\/strong><\/i>, which is in the <i><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/paris-walking-tours\/paris-landmarks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tuileries Garden<\/a><\/strong><\/i>, just next to the <i><strong>Concorde square<\/strong><\/i>. Located on the other side of the Seine, almost in front of the <i><strong>Mus\u00e9e d&#8217;Orsay<\/strong><\/i>, at the <i><strong>Orangerie<\/strong><\/i> you can buy a special ticket which allows you to enter both in the <i><strong>Orangerie<\/strong><\/i> and in the <i><strong>Orsay<\/strong><\/i>. If you don&#8217;t have much time, go directly to the top floor, the 5th, to see the most famous impressionist paintings the museum has. Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir will wait for you there. If you are fond of Impressionism, you can also go to the <i><strong>Orangerie Museum<\/strong><\/i> which is just on the other side of the Seine. Or you can also go to the <i><strong>Mus\u00e9e Marmottan<\/strong><\/i>, which is Monet&#8217;s museum in Â鶹APP, on the sixteenth arrondissement. You can get there by taking the metro line 9 and stop at <i>La Muette<\/i> metro station.<\/p>\n<p>Then, at the end of the galleries, do not take the stairs just yet, because you would miss out on one of the most wonderful views of the museum! Just turn left in front of the stairs, and take the corridor. Then look at the inside of the museum: you are behind the Great Clock (picture below)!
