For an entire month, July 17 to August 18, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/a-walk-in-la-villette\/\">Parc La Villette<\/a> will host movie screenings from Wednesday to Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Bring your own blankets and chairs to sit on, or rent some deckchairs if you prefer. Screenings begin at night between 9:30 pm and 10:30 pm depending on the date. You can BYOB as open glasses, bottles, and cans are allowed! However, leave your dogs at home for this outdoor activity because pets aren&#8217;t allowed at the festival. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top10\/top-10-reasons-to-visit-the-moulin-rouge\/\">Moulin Rouge<\/a> is hosting movie screenings this summer for free on Wednesdays on its rooftop in the 18th arrondissement. How impressive would it be to watch a classic film on the rooftop of such an iconic film location? The best part is that its free!<\/p>\n<p>The screenings take place from July through early September, and the film selection is pretty diverse, from Wes Anderson&#8217;s <em>Bottle Rocket<\/em> to Greg Mottola&#8217;s <em>Superbad.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>If you get thirsty, don&#8217;t worry, the screening takes place at the rooftop bar, so you can sip at a mojito while laughing (or crying) during the films.<\/p>\n<p>For the full experience, be sure to take a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/city\/paris-walking-tours\/\">walking tour<\/a> of the Montmartre district before visiting the rooftop cinema. The location is convenient as it is accessible by metro (Line 1). This festival is much shorter and offers three different film screenings this summer.<\/p>\n<p>The option to lounge on a castle lawn while enjoying a free movie has never been more tempting. One of the films they&#8217;re showing this summer is one of my favorites, the jazzy Oscar-winning musical, <em>La La Land<\/em>. Imagine hearing Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone singing <em>City of Stars<\/em> while watching the film directly under the Â鶹APPian stars at a famous castle. Sounds like it could be a scene out of the film itself!<\/p>\n<p>Be aware that you can&#8217;t bring outside drinks (food is allowed), but if you prefer to eat there, there is a cr\u00eape stand if you get hungry!
