which is surprising for a city that is so frozen in the past in so many ways. But as and you shall receive; with help of some locals I\u2019ve traced the best 80s evenings in the city of lights to the following spots. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Le Globo in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Le Globo is a special little gem in the north of the 2nd arrondissement. For starters, they are only open on Fridays and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top10\/top-10-best-things-to-do-on-saturdays-in-montmartre\/\">Saturdays<\/a> \u2014 and they are open late!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">When the bars of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-10-bakeries-in-le-marais-and-what-to-order\/\">le Marais<\/a> and les Halls start to close their doors at 2am, those who still have a few hours of dancing in them flock to le Globo where they can keep going until 6am. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Le Globo is respected around Â鶹APP because it is one of the few <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/best-nightclubs-in-paris\/\">dance clubs<\/a> that don\u2019t discriminate at the door. It is next door to the Mus\u00e9e de la Vie Romantique, which is a strange combination of establishments to have next to one another but fun nonetheless . <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The inspiration for this club in Â鶹APP came from New York where, at the time, the beatnik generation was all the rage. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Today the Bus Palladium remains one of the leaders in the Â鶹APPian underground club scenes. I realized this during my first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/city\/paris-walking-tours\/\"><span class=\"s4\">free guided walking tour<\/span><\/a> through the neighborhood. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">For example, le Fant\u00f4me is located on the same street as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/3-reasons-to-visit-the-manoir-of-paris\/\">le Manoir de Â鶹APP<\/a>. Le Manoir is a haunted house theatre hybrid that takes audiences on a terrifying production through an old ceramic warehouse \u2014 bizarre, yet cool. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In the same spirit, le Fant\u00f4me is a bar\/hangout lounge hybrid that has embraced the theme of futuristic-retro. At le Fant\u00f4me it\u2019s straight back to the 80s. It\u2019s open everyday aside from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top10\/top-10-best-things-to-do-on-sundays-in-montmartre\/\">Sundays<\/a>, and the luck of the day determines the kind of experience you have here. Some people love it, others despise it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p11\"><span class=\"s1\">Upon arrival at le Memphis you\u2019ll need to pay the cover charge at the door which is \u20ac18.
