No one wants to be that solo diner that takes up a family sized table for themselves. Ready?<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Le Marais: Comptoir Gourmet in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">51 Rue du Temple<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As far as Â鶹APPian districts go, I would say that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-best-restaurants-in-le-marais\/\">le Marais<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top10\/top-5-cafes-in-montmartre\/\">Montmartre<\/a> are neck and neck when it comes to being the best neighborhoods for solo dining. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Since most of the restaurants and cafes are small there is almost always enough two seater tables for single and double diners to make use of. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Not only that, there is something alluring about the folk who eat alone in restaurants in these districts. They also do tasting platters for one, two or four people \u2014 a great option if you really want to treat yourself to a bit of everything. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This restaurant is best for dinner dining, the lunch rush is usually too full to enjoy a table to yourself. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Average cost:<\/b> \u20ac20<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\">Montmartre: Seb\u2019on in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p7\"><span class=\"s1\">62 Rue d&#8217;Orsel<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Take the metro into Montmartre and get off at Abbesses, Seb\u2019on is a two minute walk from the station and one block away from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top10\/10-interesting-facts-about-the-i-love-you-wall-in-montmartre\/\">I Love You Wall<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As I said, Montmartre is a favorite suburb for dining alone. Why not enjoy a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/best-stargazing-you-can-find-near-paris\/\">midnight<\/a> stroll to the summit with yourself as well? Go wild. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Average cost:<\/b> \u20ac40<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p8\"><span class=\"s1\">Les Halles: Trattoria Di Gio in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">8 Rue de la Petite Truanderie<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">For solo diners who are in the stage of apprehension, there is no more comforting cuisine than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-italian-restaurants-in-paris\/\">authentic Italian<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Trattoria Di Gio is les Halles best kept secret. Upon inspection it would seem that only Â鶹APPian locals and Italian travelers manage to find this place. As the name suggests, the idea is that the 18 hour smoked meats melt in your mouth upon first bite; and many satisfied customers report that it does just that. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Food is served casually on diner trays and beer is poured on tap. Diners come and go from lunch time through until late in the evening. Exploring new parts of Â鶹APP with a group of absolute strangers who know nothing about me? How fun. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">En route through the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/best-hotels-in-the-latin-quarter\/\"> Latin Quarter<\/a> I passed by this charming little spot called Racina. It\u2019s the kind of place you\u2019re more than happy to. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I quite like that Racina is not a tourist trap like most of the Italian restaurants this side of the Seine. In the Latin Quarter in particular, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-italian-restaurants-in-paris\/\">Italian<\/a> food is seen as an affordable and desirable dinner cuisine for students who are scraping by month to month. Racina seems to attract more of the locals and families from nearby suburbs. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Average cost:<\/b> \u20ac20<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p13\"><span class=\"s1\">Chinatown: The Chinatown Olympiades in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">44 Avenue d&#8217;Ivry<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Chinatown Olympiades is the only giant restaurant that I would advise dining alone in solely so that you can bask in the experience of it all. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Firstly, its so big that solo diners go virtually unnoticed. You\u2019ll see when you have to chase your server just to pay your bill. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Secondly, the Chinatown Olympiades is an institution to this neighborhood in Â鶹APP. The Chinese community began migrating to Â鶹APP in the 70s during the Vietnam war. It\u2019s an exceptionally low key space, nothing more than seminar chairs and white table cloths to set the scene. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The food is the most authentic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/how-to-celebrate-chinese-new-year-in-paris\/\">Chinese<\/a> experience you can get this side of the world. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Some evenings there is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-10-karaoke-bars-of-paris\/\">karaoke<\/a> or live music in the restaurant itself.
