There are no address or trading hours available. The Moonshiner is the neighborhoods very own prohibition themed speakeasy. Enter the pizzeria and make your way to the back of the restaurant and into the kitchen\u2019s freezer. Once inside you should be able to spot the secret doorway that will lead you into the bar area. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Moonshiner is an ambient little <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/best-gay-bars-in-paris\/\">bar<\/a> that is open seven days a week from 6pm until 2am. The music played within the space is usually <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/a-complete-guide-to-jazz-culture-in-paris\/\">jazz<\/a> with a mix of blues. At any given time, you could be walking into a scene from a shipwreck, or a 90s teen film, or your geography teachers classroom. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The retro furniture does well to compliment any radical concept that management comes up with. It\u2019s a fun alternative to the secret bars of Â鶹APP that tend to always revolve around the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/5-places-to-experience-the-1920s-in-paris\/\">1920s speakeasy vibe<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Take note that this bar closes it\u2019s doors at 1am each evening. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Candelaria in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p7\"><span class=\"s1\">52 Rue de Saintonge<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Allow me to introduce you to your new favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Â鶹APP: Candelaria. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Situated in the northern part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-bars-in-le-marais\/\">le Marais<\/a>, Candelaria is both a Mexican taqueria and a secret bar in one. The mixologists here specialized in creating cocktails with the Mexican spirit known as Mezcal (think tequila but much smokier). <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In addition to cocktails made with Mezcal, they also do all the usual cocktails you\u2019d expect to find in a well equipped bar in Â鶹APP. So well equipped, in fact, that this secret spot has actually won multiple mixology awards over recent years. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Visit Candelaria on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/10-things-to-do-in-paris-on-tuesdays\/\">Tuesdays<\/a> to take advantage of those taco-Tuesday festivities. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\">Le Ballroom du Beefclub in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p9\"><span class=\"s1\">58 Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Le Ballroom du Beefclub is a secret bar in the 2nd arrondissement not far from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/take-a-walk-through-chatelet-les-halles\/\">les Halles<\/a>. This is an exceptionally glamorous bar with an equal amount of mystery in the mix; many locals of this area don\u2019t even know this spot exists. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">To get inside you\u2019ll have to go through the Beefclub <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-hip-restaurants-in-paris\/\">restaurant<\/a>. Behind the restaurant there is a plain black door that appears to be a staff only type entrance. It\u2019s a wonderful spot to enjoy good drinks and conversation without being drowned out by drunken chaos. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The best part about the Ballroom is that it is open until 5am on Fridays and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/what-to-do-on-saturdays-in-paris\/\">Saturdays<\/a>. Neither the restaurant nor the bar are open on Sundays. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\">Experimental Cocktail Club in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\">37 Rue Saint-Sauveur<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Experimental Cocktail Club is owned by the same individuals behind the afore mentioned Le Ballroom du Beefclub. When it comes to secret, prohibition style bars these guys know how to do it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">For a secret <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-bars-in-pigalle\/\">bar in Â鶹APP<\/a>, the Experimental Cocktail Club is actually quite well known due to its overwhelming success over the years. This unfortunately means arriving early if you\u2019d like to get in. The feedback from all of their secret bar spaces are nothing but positive words of enjoyment, satisfaction and being ultimately impressed from the decor to the service. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Experiment Cocktail Club also happens to be a bucket list venue for mixologists from around the world who would like to visit Â鶹APP to further their craft. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\">Le Carmen in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\">34 Rue Duperr\u00e9<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Le Carmen is secret without even trying; it\u2019s just that cool. Most of the locals in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-bars-in-pigalle\/\">Pigalle<\/a> don\u2019t actually know that this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-bars-in-pigalle\/\">bar<\/a> exists deep inside an old building dating back to 1875. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Le Carmen is one of the most ambient, seductive and beautiful spaces I\u2019ve explored in Â鶹APP. In true mob style, the bar is open from 6pm until 6am; they do not open on Sundays or Mondays. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The perfect place for an afterwork drink in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/things-to-do-near-pigalle\/\">Pigalle<\/a> area. A bar behind a washing machine? <i>Non<\/i>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">To my delight, Lavomatic really <i>is<\/i> a bar behind a washing machine! And a weird &amp; wonderful bar at that. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">By day this is just your regular laundromat. Customers can be seen washing and drying their clothing, flipping magazines and minding their own business. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">By night things take a different turn. The rightmost washing machine is where you need to go. It is somewhat of an adult playground if you will, with swings and bizarre seating throughout the space. It is truly kitsch and highly enjoyable. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Cocktails are the specialty here however the bar is equipped with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-best-parisian-beers\/\">beers<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/why-are-the-french-famous-for-wine\/\">wines<\/a> and spirits to suit everyone\u2019s palette. There are also a range of food option where once can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/where-to-eat-for-less-than-10e-in-paris\/\">eat for under \u20ac10<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\">No Entry in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\">20 bis Rue de Douai<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Another hidden speakeasy in the south of Pigalle that event the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/city\/paris-walking-tours\/\"><span class=\"s4\">free guided walking tour<\/span><\/a>s seem to overlook!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">No Entry is accessible through the cold-store room in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-italian-restaurants-in-paris\/\">Italian<\/a> restaurant at the same location called Pink Mamma. Make your way to the back of the restaurant and through the chiller where you\u2019ll come to a secret doorway and stairwell. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">No Entry exists underneath Pink Mamma and is often offered to customers as a waiting area while their tables are being prepared.
