If <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/a-quick-guide-to-lisbons-architecture\/\">Lisbon<\/a> is going to be your first time staying in a hostel, you\u2019ve got a lot coming your way. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Partying is usually a central theme in hostels across Europe. They are affordable places to stay that center themselves around making connections, having experiences and getting out and about as often as possible. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">While some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-best-6-cafes-of-lisbon\/\">Lisbon<\/a> hostels are closer to hotels in terms of setting and cleanliness, others can be more questionable. As they say, beggars can\u2019t be choosers? Second, where available, request private rooms with en suite bathrooms. You\u2019ll pat yourself on the back later on for it, I promise. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">To the hostels we go\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">GSpot Party Hostel in Lisbon<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">Tv. do Fala-S\u00f3 24<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">GSpot Party Hostel is great because it is close enough to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-fun-facts-about-alfama\/\">Alfama<\/a> to keep you within walking distance of all the necessary attractions yet still far enough out that you can escape the madness when you need a break . <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Not that you can really call the GSpot Party Hostel much of an escape. There are \u201cfamily\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/best-restaurants-in-alfama\/\">dinners<\/a> each evening, pub crawls, games nights and themed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/lisbon-top-5-snack-places\/\">breakfasts<\/a> every day to soak up the hangover from the night before. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The hostel is a few minutes walk from the historic Avenida da Liberdade area. There are over 200 drinking spots in this neighborhood alone. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The slogan for the GSpot hostel is \u201cyou\u2019ll want to come again\u2019\u2026 I think that says it all. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Sunset Destination Hostel in Lisbon<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">Pra\u00e7a do Duque de Terceira<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As far as hostel style accommodation goes it doesn\u2019t really get better than the Sunset Destination Hostel in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/what-to-do-in-lisbon-around-chiado\/\">Lisbon<\/a>. The space is actually award winning and known for being one of the best hostels in Europe. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">My favorite thing about this hostel would be their rooftop pool that is open at all hours of the day; a midnight <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/best-beaches-in-lisbon\/\">swim<\/a> is always on the cards. Getting into the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/a-walk-in-alfama\/\">Alfama<\/a> from here is simple, the hostel is built opposite a main metro station that will take you in and out of the center. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p8\"><span class=\"s1\">Old Town Hostel in Lisbon<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">R. Ata\u00edde 26A<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Near Barrio Alto, in an old 18th century building, is this beautifully cosmopolitan hostel that opened to Lisbon back in 2007. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If you\u2019ve yet to explore the gorgeous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/what-to-do-in-lisbon-around-bairro-alto\/\">Barrio Alto<\/a> then a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/type\/free-tours\/?town=lisbon-walking-tours\"><span class=\"s3\">free guided walking tour<\/span><\/a> is definitely on the cards! This one values alone and quite time. Guests are invited together each morning for a free and enjoyable breakfast. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The hostel is also one of the cleanest in terms of upkeep between rooms, public spaces and facilities. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Once you\u2019re calm, collected and ready for the night out; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-3-most-enchanting-libraries-near-lisbon\/\">Lisbon\u2019s<\/a> nightlife district is just a few minutes walk away. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p8\"><span class=\"s1\">Hub Lisbon Patio Hostel in Lisbon<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">R. Tom\u00e1s Ribeiro 8<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Staying with the relaxed theme, the Hub Hostel in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/things-to-do-during-spring-in-lisbon\/\">Lisbon<\/a> embraces chill vibes and calming outdoor spaces. The communal spaces are big and most guests spend more time here than anywhere else, making this hostel a great place to make friend if you are traveling solo. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The location of this hostel makes both day and night activities around the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/things-to-do-in-lisbon-in-march\/\">city<\/a> very accessible; you\u2019re a short walk or metro ride from most main attractions. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p8\"><span class=\"s1\">Lisbon Calling Hostel in Lisbon<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">Rua de Sao Paulo<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Lisbon Calling Hostel is (aesthetically) my favorite fun and cheap hostel in Lisbon. It is situated inside a 250 year old building in Old Town <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/things-to-do-in-lisbon-in-january\/\">Lisbon<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Everything here is bizarre and mismatched. The rooms are all mixed and each is designed to a different theme. I would recommend this hostel for maturer travelers who aren\u2019t looking to party 24\/7. You\u2019ll connect with likeminded individuals for fun around Lisbon.
