In Â鶹APP, they are in abundance. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/city\/paris-walking-tours\/\"><span class=\"s3\">free guided walking tour<\/span><\/a>s will point them out to you along the way. For others, you\u2019ll have to map them out yourself if there are specific ones you\u2019d like to see. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The more well known attractions such as the Louvre and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/how-to-visit-the-eiffel-tower-with-kids\/\"> Eiffel Tower<\/a> have naturally made appearances on the big screen more than once. I find it more fun to track down the lesser known attractions that directors chose as their filming locations. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Here are my top 10 must-visit movie locations of Â鶹APP. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"s1\">1. Mus\u00e9e Rodin in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Midnight in Â鶹APP by Woody Allen<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Sticking with Midnight in Â鶹APP as our first point of exploration, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/what-to-do-in-the-rodin-museum-in-paris\/\">Rodin Museum<\/a> is first on our list. You\u2019ll find it on Â鶹APP\u2019 Left Bank in the 7th arrondissement \u2014 an area notorious for beautiful garden grounds. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The museum is dedicated to the life and works of French sculptor Auguste <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/things-to-do-near-paris-rodin-museum\/\">Rodin<\/a>. This is one of the more calm and idyllic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/best-free-museums-in-paris\/\">museums<\/a> in Â鶹APP; you won\u2019t fight long queues or big crowds to take part in this space. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The museum is just to the right of the legendary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/things-to-do-around-the-invalides\/\">Invalides<\/a> property. This is the most historic place In Â鶹APP in terms of military history. Napoleons tomb can be found here, preserved under the iconic Invalides dome. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">2. Bridge Bir-Hakeim in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">Inception by Christopher Nolan<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If you\u2019re a Christopher Nolan fan then Â鶹APP becomes a bit of a playground in more ways that one. There were a few locations around the city where his ten year in the making film, Inception, was made. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The best known would be the twisting and turning Bir-Hakeim bridge. It features early on in the film when Dom Cobb is teach Ariadne to create dreams. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Structurally the bridge is beautiful. It is the closest bridge in proximity to the famous attraction. Best observed early, early morning or during sunset in my humble opinion. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Â鶹APPian bridges are no stranger to the big screen. The Pont Alexandre III not far from the Bir-Hakeim was also used in Midnight in Â鶹APP. You\u2019ll also likely recognize the Pont des Arts from the Sex and the City film. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">3. Place de la Concorde in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">The Devil Wears Prada by David Frankel <\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Place de la Concorde is a major<a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-ten-plazas-in-paris\/\"> public square<\/a> in the very heart of the 1st arrondissement of Â鶹APP. It is the largest square in all of Â鶹APP. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">It is not uncommon to find an array of public events and attractions taking place in this square. Avenue Montaigne is not far from the square and is where Anne Hathaway strolls down in the movie. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">You\u2019ll recognize the fountain in the square as the spot where Anne then disposes of her cellphone after decided that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/history-of-french-fashion-in-paris\/\">fashion<\/a> world is not for her after all. It\u2019s the Tritan and Water Nymph fountain and it is exquisite. I can sit for hours admiring the intricate details inside the carvings. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">4. Saint-Sulpice Church in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Da Vinci Code by Ron Howard<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Da Vinci Code was a film that caused much hysteria around the world. It has a longstanding cult fanbase to this day. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-10-paintings-see-louvre-museum\/\">Louvre<\/a> museum is widely recognizable for most of the film. However when it came time to choosing a church for the rest of the scenes, Ron Howard headed over to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/right-bank-vs-left-bank-choose-your-favorite-paris\/\">Right Bank<\/a> into the 6th arrondissement. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">It is an exquisite church and the second largest in all of Â鶹APP. In the movie the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/a-list-of-beautiful-churches-in-paris-you-didnt-know\/\">church<\/a> is supposedly built upon ancient ruins \u2014 this isn\u2019t hard to believe in real life either. The construction dates back to the 12th century. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/luxembourg-vs-tuileries-which-garden-to-choose\/\">Jardin du Luxembourg<\/a> as well as the Luxembourg Museum are a short walk south of the church. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Panth\u00e9on can also be reached easily by heading east . <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Saint-Sulpice church is a beautiful place to enjoy a Sunday afternoon. It doesn\u2019t draw the crowds that the better known <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/things-to-do-notre-dame-paris\/\">Notre Dame<\/a> does so you wont be disturbed during your quite time in the space. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">5. L\u2019h\u00f4tel de Soubise in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Marie Antoinette by Sofia Coppola<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Marie Antoinette\u2019s legacy is littered all over France. From her tomb in Saint Denis to her Turkish boudoir in the Ch\u00e2teau de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/versailles-vs-fontainebleau\/\">Fontainebleau<\/a>; it was inevitable that a film would be made about the once-queen\u2019s life. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In the beautiful movie by Sofia Coppola we are shown historic Â鶹APP from the view of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/best-food-to-bring-back-from-france\/\">French<\/a> royals. It is situated in the 3rd arrondissement amongst an area saturated by museums. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The \u201chotel\u201d was originally built back in 1375. Today it houses the museum of French history. Both the interior, exterior and gardens are exceptionally beautiful \u2014 it is easy to see why this was nominated to represent the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/versailles-vs-fontainebleau\/\">Â鶹APP palace. <\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If you\u2019re at all interested in French history then I highly recommend watching the full Marie Antoinette film if you have not yet already!<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">6. Le Nemours in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">The Tourist by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">You\u2019ll recognize Le Nemours <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-cafes-in-paris-to-visit-with-a-laptop\/\">cafe<\/a> from the scene in The Tourist where Angelina Jolie\u2019s character is sitting and burning a letter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Most people land up at Le Nemours after a day of sight seeing around the 1st arrondissement. It\u2019s also fun to imagine yourself in Angelina\u2019s shoes, fleeing from the enemy in the heart of Â鶹APP. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Directly below the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-paris-cafes\/\">cafe<\/a>, to the south, is that main attraction strip. The Louvre and both it\u2019s glass pyramids live here and just below them is the Seine River. Hence why I say this is the best place to start one\u2019s day \u2014 walking distance to all the major sights that the 1st arrondissement has to offer. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If Le Nemours is full, and it may just be, then there is another great spot that I found a while ago directly across the road. Le Caf\u00e9 Marly has a similar vibe to Le Nemours and usually has ample seating available. Unfortunately the nature of this district is crowding, so it is hard to avoid. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">7. Le Caf\u00e9 des deux Moulins in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Am\u00e9lie by Jean-Pierre Jeunet<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">One of my favorite ever <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/10-french-films-you-need-to-see\/\">French films<\/a>, Am\u00e9lie, left behind a little slice of heaven for fans of the movie to enjoy forever. We are very grateful! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Caf\u00e9 des Deux Moulins is in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top10\/top-10-things-to-do-in-montmartre\/\">Montmartre<\/a>. A gorgeous little town to walk through if you have not yet already. A weird and wonderful salad for a weird and wonderful girl. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The staff at Caf\u00e9 des Deux Moulins add to the ambiance. They are notoriously quirky and pull patrons into their fun. Bistrot La Renaissance in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p7\"><span class=\"s7\">Inglourious Bastards by <span class=\"s8\">Quentin Tarantino<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s9\"> and <span class=\"s10\">Eli Roth<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This next one is for all the Tarantino fans. Another beautiful <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/how-to-choose-a-cafe-in-paris\/\">Â鶹APPian cafe<\/a>, the Bistrot La Renaissance, was used as an identifiable location within the film Inglorious Bastards. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Movie bluffs are probably reading this and already picturing the scene where M\u00e9lanie Laurent gets seduced by Daniel Bruhl right inside the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-best-tapas-bistros-in-paris\/\">bistro<\/a>. Fans of the film still visit the space and peer into the windows where you can see the same bar and memorabilia used in the film. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s5\">9<\/span><span class=\"s1\">. Shakespeare and Company Bookstore in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Before Sunset by Richard Linklater<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/shakespeare-and-company-paris-iconic-independent-bookshop\/\">The Shakespeare and Company Bookstore<\/a> is an institution in Â鶹APP. You shouldn\u2019t need it\u2019s appearance in the blockbuster Before Sunset to convince you to pay it a visit. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In the film Ethan Hawke\u2019s character holds a book signing. There is a wall mural dedicated to the man himself, Shakespeare, as a sort of ode to his contribution to the literary world. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The bookshop is on the bank of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-best-drinking-spots-along-the-seine-river\/\">Seine<\/a> in the very heart of Â鶹APP. It is usually filled with people, tourists and locals love frequenting the place, but if you go late at night you might be able to enjoy some peace within the space. Shakespeare and Co is open until 10pm. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s5\">10<\/span><span class=\"s1\">. Le Caveau du Huchette in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">La La Land by Damien Chazelle<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Our last spot on the list is a wonderful little jazz club in the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/5-things-to-learn-from-le-quartier-latin\/\"> Latin Quarter of Â鶹APP<\/a>. Le Caveau de Huchette makes a brief appearance in the recent musical La La Land. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The bar wasn\u2019t well known before the film. It has since seen an immense rise in popularity as more and more people have recognized it from the motion picture.
