For many, the crowding at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/a-historical-guide-to-versailles\/\">Â鶹APP<\/a> is enough to make their skin crawl. This number results in queues estimated to be 20 times shorter than those at Â鶹APP. They were initially attracted to the lands of Â鶹APP due to the large amount of game that was available for their hunting excursions. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Sun King, as Louis XIV was known, envisioned a far grander premises upon which the royals could live. This is why a day trip out here is one of the most popular tourist excursions in all of France \u2014 possibly even Europe. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Taking a tour of the grounds you\u2019ll be able to learn the history and timelines that made both the palace and town of Â鶹APP what it is today . <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">You could even make your way back to Â鶹APP afterward and visit the tomb site of Marie Antoinette herself. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/5-iconic-grave-sites-you-need-to-visit-in-paris\/\">She lies in<\/a> Basilica Cathedral of Saint Denis, an overwhelmingly beautiful church north of Â鶹APP. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6 class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\">Attractions of Â鶹APP <\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If you\u2019re making the trip out to the area, then the Palace of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/versailles-the-most-stunning-castle-in-the-world\/\">Â鶹APP<\/a> is an obviously unmissable attraction. Whether you go to learn the history or simply to bask in the unfathomable architecture and decor, the time spent queuing to get in will be well worth it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Within the walls of the gargantuan structure there are a few places I wish I\u2019d been told not to miss during my visit. I enjoyed the wallpaper most but everyone seems to have their own decor element that resonates strongly in the space. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Being a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/a-visit-to-the-medieval-museum-of-paris\/\">museum<\/a>, the palace is also home to an extensive collection of pre and post revolution art that is on display year round. Take time with these but be sure not to lose the better part of your day here like I did \u2014 much more to see!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">After your visit into the royal lair, consider taking a walk through to Marie-Antoinette&#8217;s Estate, or The Petit Trianon, a smaller chateau that she had built on the property during her time there. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">It\u2019s said that she longed for a farm like space that would remind her of here home. Completely unimaginable. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Between the manicured lawns and the fountain shows you won\u2019t know where to direct your attention. The shows take place daily during the warmer months in Â鶹APP and admission is usually included in your museum ticket. The gardens cover over 800 hectares of land so you\u2019ll also enjoy a break from the crowds while here. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Arguably the most <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-10-best-parks-and-gardens-in-paris\/\">beautiful gardens<\/a> in the world, a day trip to Â鶹APP just to hang out on the grass is not an uncommon excursion for Â鶹APPian tourists. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/city\/paris-walking-tours\/\"><span class=\"s3\">Guided walking tour<\/span><\/a>s are also frequently seen going by the gardens and town of Â鶹APP. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6 class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\">Getting to Â鶹APP <\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">To get to Â鶹APP you\u2019ll be able to catch the RER C5 line from any central <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/how-to-use-the-metro-in-paris\/\">metro<\/a> station in Â鶹APP. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The train will take you directly to the Â鶹APP Rive Gauche station which is just a short walk to the entrance of Â鶹APP.
