There are usually other specials on drinks such as two-for-one margarita jugs or free chips and guac with every main meal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Not all restaurants embrace the deal side of Taco Tuesday \u2014 some continue to serve full priced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/10-things-to-eat-in-bastille\/\">food<\/a> as usual. The idea is to participate in eating tacos every Tuesday regardless of if the restaurants join or not. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Religiously my Tuesdays are spent chasing tacos around Â鶹APP. Everything is handmade and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/10-things-to-eat-in-pigalle\/\">authentic<\/a> \u2014 and the prices aren\u2019t bad either. They also have a wide variety of cocktails on offer if you\u2019re in the mood to get a bit festive on a Tuesday. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Across town in the Oberkampf district is another great spot called <em>Cafe Chilangio<\/em>. Slightly pricer than <em>Candelaria<\/em> but equally as delicious! They do great plated specials that always come with tequila to share. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">2. Palace of Â鶹APP in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">When Â鶹APP quietens down on Tuesdays it\u2019s sometimes a good idea to venture slightly outside of the city and have a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/from-paris-to-versailles-the-perfect-day-trip\/\">day trip<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/a-historical-guide-to-versailles\/\">Â鶹APP<\/a> is the perfect place to do so.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Located about an hour outside of Â鶹APP\u2019 city center, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-6-best-restaurants-in-versailles-in-2019\/\">Â鶹APP<\/a> can be reached via most of the main metro stations around the city. The Palace of Â鶹APP holds many a tale between it\u2019s walls \u2014 a great way to spend a Tuesday immersed in some French culture. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Admission: \u20ac20<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">3. Picasso Museum in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Most of the museums around Â鶹APP take Tuesdays off and are closed for business. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/5-fascinating-facts-about-picasso\/\">Picasso Museum<\/a> over in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/hidden-gems-in-le-marais\/\">Le Marais<\/a> is one of the few who keep their doors open on this day. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The collection of works within the space is hugely impressive. After recently undergoing a series of necessary renovations the museum is back to being open to the public. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I love visiting this museum because it is one that you can complete easily within one day. Working your way through the old hotel rooms is quite systematic and before you know it you\u2019ve managed to absorb all of the works available. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Admission: \u20ac14<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">4. Saint Denis Market in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Again we visit one of the outskirt suburbs of Â鶹APP in search of some Tuesday entertainment. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Saint Denis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/paris-largest-flea-market\/\">Market<\/a> is located directly north of Â鶹APP. It is only ever open on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The big hall is where you\u2019ll find a dedicated food market with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-food-markets-in-paris\/\">cuisines<\/a> from all around the world to enjoy. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A lot of work goes into making this market possible. Due to its overwhelming scale, merchants begin setting up here from 4am on the day of exhibit. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Be sure to take cash along, not all of the vendors have card enabled facilities. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">5. It\u2019s nice to buy a book and come spend a few hours in this space gorging on vegetarian food. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The food at <em>Le Grenier de Notre-Dame<\/em> is all organic, which is hard to come by in Â鶹APP. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">7. Take Photos Outside the Louvre in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As I mentioned, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/10-best-museums-to-visit-with-children-in-paris\/\">museums<\/a> of Â鶹APP are notorious for taking Tuesdays as their day of rest. Even the well known tourist attractions need a day off, and the iconic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/visiting-the-louvre-at-night\/\">Louvre Museum<\/a> is amongst those that shut their doors. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This is the day when you\u2019ll see numerous photographers flocking to the museum\u2019s main square to capture the perfect photo of the famous glass pyramid and adjacent buildings. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Since there are no people in the vicinity, there is opportunity to capture a completely vacant photograph. It is juts to the north of the 3rd arrondissement. You\u2019ll be absolutely fine wandering in on a Tuesday without a reservation.
