Flock to a Museum in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Yes, an obvious one isn\u2019t it? In the city with one of the largest collections of museums in the world, what else would one do on a snow day. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Predictability aside, there really is nothing better than waking up to snow and decided the day will be best spent amongst some incredible works of art. What kind of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/a-visit-to-the-medieval-museum-of-paris\/\">museum<\/a> to flock to, is entirely up to you. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The eclectic variety of museum options within greater Â鶹APP makes singling out one for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/things-to-do-in-paris-this-winter\/\">snow day<\/a> a bit difficult. Go to the Cinema in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Sticking in the centre of town as we decided we would; another great activity to enjoy while it snows on the streets is to find solace within one of the beautiful <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/10-best-cinemas-in-paris\/\">cinemas<\/a> that encompass Â鶹APP. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">My particular favorite is over in the 2nd arrondissement. A gargantuan, art deco inspired space known as the <i>Grand Rex<\/i>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The main auditorium within the <i>Grand Rex <\/i>is the largest cinema room in all of Europe. The seats are comfy, the ambiance is welcoming and the snacks are great. The only downside is the cost of admission at this cinema; you\u2019ll be paying considerably more for tickets solely due to the legacy and location of the venue. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">3. Attend a Ceramics Class in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Perhaps it\u2019s just me, but for some reason the presence of snow really makes me want to bring out my creative side in any way possible. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Viewing art is always nice, but often making <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-10-artworks-to-hunt-down-in-paris\/\">art<\/a> is ten times better. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon if you ask me. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The district of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/hidden-gems-in-le-marais\/\">Le Marais<\/a> is full of hidden gem spaces just like this; where art and creativity are encouraged to flow freely. It\u2019s also a great part of Â鶹APP to stroll, even in the snow . <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">4. Hideaway in a Library in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If waking up to snow in Â鶹APP puts you in the mood to curl up with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/10-unmissable-bookstores-in-paris\/\">good book<\/a>, why not venture out to one of the impressive library structures that the city has to offer?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Europe is known for having some of the most exquisite library facilities in the world. You won\u2019t be able to check anything out without a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/5-best-books-to-give-you-a-taste-of-paris\/\">readers<\/a> card, but spending a few hours inside the library is just as good. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">5. Go Undercover in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">During the 19th century many <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-covered-passages-not-miss-paris\/\">passageways<\/a> and boulevards around Â鶹APP were covered by glass topped arch ceilings that turned the outdoor spaces into undercover ones. The confined nature of these passageways makes them constantly warm and cosy \u2014 a welcome escape from the weather going on outside. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Nearby in the 2nd arrondissement you can also head to <i>Galerie Vivienne<\/i>, an exquisite old passage that was actually dubbed a historical monument in France back in 1974. It is also in close walking proximity to many of the major tourist attractions of the 1st arrondissement. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">7. Enjoy a Hot Bath in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u2026and no I don\u2019t mean from inside your apartment. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I know we agreed to keep things central with the snow, but if there ever was a good reason to venture slightly out of town then the <i>Medina Hammam Center<\/i> is it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">What could be better than sliding into some giant, hot <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/where-to-bath-in-paris\/\">baths<\/a> on a particularly cold and snowy day? <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">For a package fee you\u2019ll gain access to all of the facilities within the centre. This includes the heated pools, steam rooms, thermal stone areas, rest rooms and saunas. I love finding any excuse to make the trip up to the 19th just to spend some time here. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I\u2019ve yet to have the opportunity to visit on a snow day but definitely look forward to doing this on the next. The centre accepts walk-ins so no need to worry about being able to book in advance. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">8. Eat Your Heart Out in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">An activity almost as predictable as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/a-visit-to-the-medieval-museum-of-paris\/\">museum<\/a> options; spending your snow day <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/10-things-to-eat-in-bastille\/\">eating<\/a> your way through one of the many restaurants that Â鶹APP has to offer. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">When it\u2019s cold outside we tend to turn to our comfort foods to warm our insides. For some people it could be cake and tea, for others market food does the trick; a surprising amount of people find hot curries their go-to meal when the weather turns cold. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">For me; it\u2019s any cuisine where I can replace cutlery with bread. Make a Snowman (or Woman) in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Absolutely outrageous to assume that just because some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/paris-weather-in-winter\/\">snow<\/a> is falling from the sky we need to suddenly retreat indoors! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Instead let\u2019s venture out to one of the many public parks and gardens in Â鶹APP and make our own entertainment. Not something you\u2019ll see everyday \u2014 definitely worthy of a spot on your Instagram photo feed. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">10. Cosy Up at a Cafe in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A cafe? In Â鶹APP?
