I find it hard to categorize this space amongst the other museums in Â鶹APP as it is more of an educational complex as opposed to a single museum space. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Â鶹APP Science Museum is comprised of multiple facilities that make up the institution on a whole. Besides, it\u2019s always nice to have a reason to venture up to the 19th arrondissement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cEnlightening\u201d is a mild way to put an excursion to this eclectic museum space. Very often content-specific <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/10-unmissable-history-museums-in-paris\/\">museums<\/a> are a hit or miss upon arrival. If the space is not well curated, the experience is going to be dull \u2014 no matter how well intended the idea was. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">At the Â鶹APP Science Museum everything just seems to come together effortlessly. The park is found right on the north eastern boundary of Â鶹APP, where the city meets the freeway that takes you out into areas like Aubervilliers, Pantin and greater <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/best-food-to-bring-back-from-france\/\">France<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Because of its location, the 19th can be a somewhat neglected part of Â鶹APP when it comes to exploring. It was only not long ago in 1980 that the slaughterhouse rehabilitation project was entrusted by the City of Â鶹APP. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The project sought to transform the former slaughterhouses and it\u2019s grounds into a museum of science that would become one of the main <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-5-non-touristy-restaurants-in-montmartre\/\">tourist<\/a> attractions of the city as we know it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The grounds were divided up and handed over to a contracting company who would take the project forward. Upon your visit here you\u2019ll properly understand what I mean when I refer to the infrastructure as a thoughtful and inclusive space. The flow between buildings and exhibition rooms is perfectly coordinated to telling the story of science in a cohesive manner. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\">Exhibits at Â鶹APP\u2019 Science Museum<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/paris-best-exhibitions-of-2019\/\">exhibition<\/a> halls at the Cit\u00e9 des Sciences et de l\u2019Industrie in Â鶹APP span over an incredible 20,000<\/span><span class=\"s3\">m<\/span><span class=\"s4\"><sup>2 <\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\">surface area. Like I said, that is a whole lot of ground to cover in a short period of time. Bet you\u2019re happy you wore your comfy shoes now!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The exhibits are comprised of a permanent collection and a temporary collection that rotates by season. Scientists, technicians, journalists and engineers can make use of the facilities to better their understanding and craft. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The media <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/7-of-the-most-gorgeous-libraries-in-paris\/\">library<\/a> located in the children\u2019s sector of the museum is one of the highlights of the Cit\u00e9 des Sciences et de l\u2019Industrie in Â鶹APP. It is a space that gives children the opportunity to stimulate their curiosity and awareness of the subjects either before or after visiting the main exhibits. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The permanent exhibits at the Â鶹APP Science Museum are centered around a few main areas of interest. I could (and sometimes do) spend hours divulging in the extensive array of research and theories available on the matter. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The evolution of transportation is another interesting exhibit to behold. Seeing mankind\u2019s technological advancements all in one space really puts things into perspective. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Amongst other permanent exhibits at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/10-things-you-did-not-know-about-parisians\/\">Â鶹APP<\/a> Science Museum are the exploration of mathematics and how we understand it, the phenomena of sounds and lastly, human genomes and the exploration of microorganisms. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p12\"><span class=\"s1\">Cit\u00e9 des Enfants at Pari\u2019s Science Museum<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As I mentioned earlier, the initial goal of the Cit\u00e9 des Sciences et de l\u2019Industrie in Â鶹APP was to formulate an inclusive space where both adults and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/how-to-have-fun-with-children-in-paris\/\">children<\/a> could find equal enjoyment within the museum. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Cit\u00e9 des Enfants is the dedicated children\u2019s section in the Â鶹APP Science Museum. It can be divided into two main sections.
