So much so that very rarely do people actually remember that Â鶹APP is an entire city filled with many other attractions worth exploring. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The city of Â鶹APP is also home to some of the best restaurants and cuisines in the country. Some might say there are a few worth the day trip out of Â鶹APP alone. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">You\u2019ll have to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/from-paris-to-versailles-the-perfect-day-trip\/\"><span class=\"s2\">day trip<\/span><\/a> to get to Â鶹APP as it is located about an hour outside of Â鶹APP. You\u2019ll be able to walk over after visiting this marvelous palace (something you obviously <i>must<\/i> do if you\u2019re making the trip into the town). <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Gordon Ramsay au Trianon is actually also situated near another worthwhile landmark, the Cemetery of Notre-Dame. If you continue moving left of the palace you\u2019ll eventually land up here. It is a peaceful, gothic space that transports you way back in time \u2014 go take a look. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Interestingly, Gordon Ramsay chose to go for a more modern, chic interior for the space. Be well aware that you need to be ready to dine\u2026 and equally as ready to pay. This restaurant doesn\u2019t run cheap and is definitely an occasion to splurge. When in Â鶹APP, why not?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Choosing from the menu can be overwhelming in restaurants where everything is made to culinary perfection. For this reason most patrons of Gordon Ramsay au Trianon choose to do the seven course tasting menu, so that they can try a bit of everything. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">You\u2019ll dine while sipping fine champagne or wine overlooking the incredible palace gardens. Chez Tiouiche&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"s1\">in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p7\"><span class=\"s1\">4 Rue Saint-Julien<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Taking things way, way more low-key and far friendlier on your pocket I give you my favorite little <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-best-moroccan-restaurants-in-paris-in-2019\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Moroccan<\/span><\/a> restaurant in all of Â鶹APP: Chez Tiouiche. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Chez Tiouiche is located just opposite the Ch\u00e2teau de Â鶹APP in the main square. Most of the town\u2019s biggest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-10-paintings-see-louvre-museum\/\"><span class=\"s2\">museum<\/span><\/a> attractions are located in this area so considering a walking tour to guide your day along is not a bad idea. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Moroccan culture and cuisine are easy to find in Â鶹APP, but on the outskirts of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/things-to-do-in-versailles\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Â鶹APP<\/span><\/a> it is less abundant. This restaurant is therefore a true hidden gem in my eyes. The best part is that it is one of the few places so close to the Ch\u00e2teau that you won\u2019t have to fight crowds just to get into. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Chez Tiouiche always has space and is always so welcoming to anyone who comes through the doors. Admittedly, word spreads fast with gems like this and there are times in the evening (particularly weekends) where they might need a few minutes before they can accommodate you. Unlike many Moroccan restaurants, Chez Tiouiche serves wine. While this is a nice accompaniment to any of their dishes, I stand firmly behind <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-best-moroccan-restaurants-in-paris-in-2019\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Moroccan<\/span><\/a> cuisine being best enjoyed with a pot of authentic hot mint tea. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">For dinner, I recommend any of their Tajine dishes. Whether you\u2019re a meat eater or veggie lover there is one for all. If you\u2019re dining with friends it is never a bad idea to order different items and sample each one together. ReminiSens&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"s1\">in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p8\"><span class=\"s1\">20 Rue Baillet Reviron<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If you take away anything from this restaurant line up let it be this incredible concept venue known as ReminiSens. The 17th and 18th centuries were times of banquets and elaborate masquerades. People dressed for their dinners and every meal was an occasion. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">ReminiSens attempts to bring this time in history right to your table. The space itself is a perfect replica of a baroque inspired dining space with all staff in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/history-of-french-fashion-in-paris\/\"><span class=\"s2\">full costume<\/span><\/a> and on theme. They also do not break their characters throughout the evening, so you are constantly part of the role play. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The restaurant interior is immaculately done. Replicating baroque decor always runs risk of looking tacky rather than authentic. ReminiSens hit the nail on the head with this one. For such a thoughtful experience, the food is quite reasonably priced. I recommend doing their combo special which includes an entree, a main and a dessert of your choice. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Average cost: Under \u20ac40<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">4. Sushi Lin&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"s1\">in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">2 Rue Georges Clemenceau<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">My favorite thing to do when exploring a new town is find the sushi spot with the best value for money and quality cuisine. Sushi Lin is a restaurant I wandered into by accident when walking back to the metro after enjoying a day of swimming at the Montbauron public pool not far from the Ch\u00e2teau de Â鶹APP. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p9\"><span class=\"s5\">It is located on <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Rue Georges Clemenceau, amongst a strip of many other cosy looking spots. The exterior of the restaurant is unassuming, but inside it is modern and clean. Light, cold meals become the order of the day and so sushi is the perfect way to treat yourself to lunch in Â鶹APP. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p9\"><span class=\"s1\">While the hot meals at Sushi Lin are delicious, I recommend any and all of their sushi platters. Select the ingredients that are most suited to your taste and let the chef do the rest. The plates are just enough to satisfy your craving but not too much that you\u2019ll feel like rolling back to the metro station. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p9\"><span class=\"s1\">Their nougat dessert is also not to be missed. An interesting Asian-French take of the typical sweet treat. Delicious! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Average cost: Under \u20ac20<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">5. Saudade&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"s1\">in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">20 Rue du G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Leclerc<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A bit further from the Ch\u00e2teau is another hidden gem of a restaurant. Saudade is located a few meters from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/10-facts-about-notre-dame-cathedral\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Cath\u00e9drale<\/span><\/a> Saint-Louis, which is a fabulous attraction to visit while in Â鶹APP. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Saudade is an authentic Portuguese owned and run establishment. If you\u2019ve ever known happiness it probably came in the form of biting into a pastel de nata \u2014 if you have no idea what this means then it is high time you find out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Most of the menu is seafood based. It is light and incredibly fresh \u2014 their muscle pot is a personal favorite. It is easy to forget that you are in the heart of Â鶹APP while inside of this space. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">To answer the burning question in your mind; pastel de nata is a traditional Portuguese pastry dessert that is filled with homemade custard and glazed to perfection. This description of the treat does absolutely nothing to describe its tastiness. I\u2019ve known many strict vegans to even break their rule of no dairy just to enjoy one of these cakes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This is not a large restaurant so booking in advance is strongly advised. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Average cost: Under \u20ac30<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">6. La Maison du Liban Notre Dame&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"s1\">in Â鶹APP<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">22 Rue du Mar\u00e9chal Foch<\/span><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">La Maison du Liban <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-best-way-to-visit-notre-dame-de-paris\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Notre Dame<\/span><\/a> is a Â鶹APP based restaurant that gets me so, so excited. I sometimes take the 45 minute metro ride <i>just<\/i> to eat here \u2014 it\u2019s that wonderful. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Lebanese cuisine is an all time favorite, though authentic renditions done well are not easy to come by in both Â鶹APP and Â鶹APP. If you have one chance to eat at La Maison du Liban Notre Dame then there are certain dishes you simply can\u2019t miss. I recommend (one thousand percent) ordering their falafel main along with a side of their Taboul\u00e9 and hummus starters. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">My favorite cuisines are the ones in which you replace cutlery with bread; this is one of those cuisines. As you gorge on the freshest flavors of parsley and spiced chickpeas you\u2019ll be very glad you found your way to Â鶹APP even for just a few hours. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If you have space at the end for some Baklawa and tea \u2014 lucky you! In my opinion dinner at La Maison du Liban Notre Dame is the perfect end to a day in Â鶹APP.
