It rises at 210m above the ground (which is almost 100 less than the Eiffel Tower). The black appearance of the tower, and its modern look which completely contrasts with the Â鶹APPian landscape, caused such an outcry when it was first completed, that Â鶹APP banned any further buildings above seven stories. After all, its observation deck is 50 meters higher\u2026 Yes, but let us ask you one simple question. If you had to show a panoramic picture of Â鶹APP to your friends, what would you like them to see in it? Which, is quite difficult to achieve when you stand on the said Eiffel Tower!<\/p>\n<p>From the Montparnasse Tower, on the other hand, you stand facing the Eiffel Tower, from a height roughly similar to that of the Iron Lady. The whole place seems to perfectly match with the amazing view that the large floor-to-ceiling windows display.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s face it, this restaurant is quite expensive and the service is not always very pleasant. However, the restaurant is located almost 50 meters above its Eiffel Tower counterpart \u2013 Le Jules Verne \u2013 and offers the unforgettable experience of dinning with the City of Light at your feet.<\/p>\n<p>Often less crowded, and less loud, than the Eiffel Tower restaurants, it is a good thing to do if you don\u2019t have young children. The place is not really a family-friendly restaurant, but it is probably one of your best bets if you are a couple looking for a romantic stop after your day full of visits. The Day\/Night Ticket<\/h4>\n<p>Both buildings represent quite a budget to visit, for a family. However, the Montparnasse Tower is slightly cheaper. Indeed, the adult ticket costs 18\u20ac, whereas the Eiffel Tower adult ticket to the top costs 25\u20ac.<\/p>\n<p>The Eiffel Tower offers the big advantage of having a special price for kids between 12 and 18, while they need an adult ticket at the Montparnasse Tower. In addition to this, since the attacks of 2015, a bulletproof wall now circles the entrance and you must go through extensive security checks to get in, thus extending even more your waiting time.<\/p>\n<p>At the Montparnasse Tower there is also security, and you may purchase your ticket in advance\u2026but since the building is way less popular, there is usually almost no waiting time at the elevators (the fastest ones in Europe!) and you may proceed rather quickly.<\/p>\n<p>This is really appreciable when you are on a tight schedule. You may expect to spend one hour\/one hour and a half at the Montparnasse Tower, while you would need an entire half day for the Eiffel Tower.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the Montparnasse area is a bustling neighborhood, and not a too-touristy one. It is vibrant and filled with restaurants, theaters, and bars.
