Despite this, there is a strong sense of tradition in France, and so everyone would rather relax at the end of the long week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, what happens if you planned a weekend trip? If you are worried you will be wasting your day just sleeping in and not leaving your hotel room, you can think again!<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Sunday morning in Âé¶¹APP<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fear not, Âé¶¹APP on a Sunday does not transform into a ghost town. In fact, you will find plenty of chefs, waiters, waitresses, barmen and barmaids that have kindly sacrificed their day of rest to bring us <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/top-10-best-brunches-in-paris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the brunch experience.<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ink eggs in all forms, caramelised onions, stuffed peppers, smoked salmon, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tabbouleh, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cr\u00eapes, waffles, bacon, foie gras, syrups, mixed berries<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and cheese pastries. In Âé¶¹APP, allow yourself a good hour or two to really make the most of the buffet, to savour your \u201cformule\u201d, and catch up with your friends.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prices are usually between 15 euros, up to 100 euros in certain luxury hotels like The Shangri-La or Le Marriott. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will find the more modest menus at places like Twinkie Breakfasts, open from 10am, or HolyBelly from 9am. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For something a bit different, why not combine a stand-up comedy performance with your meal? Book a table at The Comedy Club in the 10<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> arrondissement from 30 euros.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The French are known for socialising best over food, and this Âé¶¹APPian habit is the equivalent of a long family dinner at Christmas. The only difference is, it\u2019s every week. Foodies rejoice!<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Discover Âé¶¹APP after lunch<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you have filled up on all the food, it is highly recommended you go for a walk.\u00a0 Even though a nap is tempting, it is important to keep moving and digesting! I recommend making <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/paris-museums-tips\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the most of the museums<\/a>, as they are all open on Sundays and there is free entry on the first Sunday of every month.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are looking to cover a lot of distance after your brunch then feel welcome to head to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-best-way-to-visit-the-louvre-museum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Louvre<\/a> (60 600 m2) or perhaps the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/the-best-way-to-visit-the-orsay-museum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mus\u00e9e d\u2019Orsay<\/a> (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">57 400 m<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Places like Le Duplex, near les Champs Elysees will give you free entry before midnight, and for girls (yes, to compensate for the lack of hammam spa) 2 complimentary glasses of sparkling wine.
