You will easily find these maps around the city, for instance in kiosks and metro information desks. Different companies manage Lisbon public transportations, but do not worry, because they are all easy to use! You only need to check the maps beforehand! It only has four metro lines: the blue one, the yellow one, the green one and the red one. Plus, there are only 52 stations. While in Lisbon, you will probably use the metro a few times, because it is fast, practical and very easy to use!<\/p>\n<p>The metro opens each day at 6.30 am and you can catch the last metro at 1 am. It was founded in 1872. Check <a href=\"http:\/\/ontheworldmap.com\/portugal\/city\/lisbon\/lisbon-bus-tram-map.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this<\/a> link to see the map for trams and buses! And click <a href=\"https:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/e\/eb\/Tram_map_Lisbon_2011.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a> if you want to see the map specifically for the trams.<\/p>\n<p>Personally, every time I\u2019m in Lisbon, I usually only use the trams, the elevators and the metro. The trams are so much fun and the metro is so simple to use and useful! These are my two favorite public transportations while in Lisbon!<\/p>\n<p>If you plan on using the buses, the trams or the elevators, my advice is for you to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carris.pt\/en\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">check the <i>CARRIS<\/i> official website<\/a> beforehand. There\u2019s an english version of the website! The <i>CP<\/i> company will take you to <i><strong>Cascais<\/strong><\/i> and <i><strong>Sintra<\/strong><\/i>, for instance, while the <i>Fertagus<\/i> company will take you across the <i><strong>Ponte 25 de Abril<\/strong><\/i>, which is in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/lisbon-walking-tours\/belem-tour\/?utm_source=Blog&amp;utm_campaign=Blog&amp;utm_content=maps%20lisbon%20%2F%20belem\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Bel\u00e9m<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>Map of Lisbon neighborhoods<\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12501\" src=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/mapsoflisbon9.gif\" alt=\"mapsoflisbon9\" width=\"600\" height=\"538\"><\/p>\n<p>Here is a map that show some of the most important neighborhoods of Lisbon. As you can see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/lisbon-walking-tours\/belem-tour\/?utm_source=Blog&amp;utm_campaign=Blog&amp;utm_content=maps%20lisbon%20%2F%20belem\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bel\u00e9m<\/a> is a bit far from the city center, which contains Bairro Alto, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/lisbon-walking-tours\/chiado-sunset-tour\/?utm_source=Blog&amp;utm_campaign=Blog&amp;utm_content=maps%20lisbon%20%2F%20chiado%20sunset\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chiado<\/a>, Terreiro do Pa\u00e7o, and Baixa. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/tour\/lisbon-walking-tours\/alfama-tour\/?utm_source=Blog&amp;utm_campaign=Blog&amp;utm_content=maps%20lisbon%20%2F%20alfama\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alfama <\/a>is not mentioned in the map but it is near Baixa.<\/p>\n<p>If you only have three days in Lisbon, read <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwalks.com\/blog\/lisbon-in-three-days\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this<\/a> which will help you plan your trip for you to make sure you don\u2019t miss anything important!<\/p>\n<p>My article about a few of the most important <strong>maps of Lisbon<\/strong> is now over! To use your ticket, you will have to charge it. You can do it at the same place you\u2019ve bought it! For 6.50 euros, you can travel the city one whole day. This travel option is the best, because it is less expensive, it is perfect for people who will only be in the city for a few days! Plus, the <i>Viva Viagem<\/i> ticket enables you to travel Lisbon through the different means of public transport, such as the metro, buses, trams, and even elevators.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever one is in Lisbon, they always want to hop in an elevator, which is one of the attractions of Lisbon. When you buy your ticket to an elevator on board, it will cost you 3.45 euros, but if you use your <i>Viva Viagem<\/i> ticket when getting in, you will only be spending 1.45 euros!<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t hesitate to contact us if you need further information about anything!
