Starting <\/span> Friday, March 23, visitors to Barcelona can join natives of Barcelona on free walking tours of the Catalan capital every day. For the first time, visitors can now enjoy tours conducted exclusively by natives of Barcelona. They show not only the landmarks, but also the stories behind them and the places only locals know and they share an insider\u2019s perspective on the city.<\/p>\n

\u201cBarcelona<\/em><\/span> is an exciting and fun place to explore \u2013 but you have to know your way around\u201d says Alexandre Gourevitch, co-founder of Discover Walks. \u201cIt\u2019s twice the fun and excitement when you are walking with a native and getting insights into Catalan culture\u201d.<\/p>\n

These <\/span>Discover Walks tours are also free of charge \u2013 guests pay what they want at the end of the tour, leaving the visitors in control of how they value the tour. These tours are conducted in English, they are available without reservation and they are capped to around 20 people \u2013 above that, a second guide also joins.

\nVisitors can take three tours: Gaudi Tour <\/a>at 10am, Ramblas and Barri Gotic<\/a> at 1pm, and Picasso\u2019s Barcelona\/La Ribera<\/a> at 5pm.<\/p>\n
