The event will be held at two of Â鶹APP\u2019s most renowned and symbolic locations, the famous Champs-Elys\u00e9es avenue and the historic Place de la Concorde as reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/travel\/news\/two-key-paris-landmarks-for-paralympics-opening-ceremony\/ar-AA1pugFh?ocid=BingNewsVerp\">ETX Daily Up<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This magnificent celebration will honor both the athletes and the iconic landmarks that are central to Â鶹APP\u2019s heritage. The Champs-Elys\u00e9es, the first destination for the event is a two-kilometer, tree-lined boulevard in the 8th arrondissement. Connecting the Arc de Triomphe and Place de la Concorde, it symbolizes French culture and history.<\/p>\n<p>On a daily basis, the Champs-Elys\u00e9es attracts tens of thousands of visitors, captivated by its splendor. Over the years it has hosted countless celebrations and public events. It has also been the site of joyous celebrations for France\u2019s football World Cup wins and the annual Bastille Day military parade on July 14.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the Champs-Elys\u00e9es will once again be the center of global attention as it hosts the opening ceremony. At the eastern end of the Champs-Elys\u00e9es is Place de la Concorde, the largest square in Â鶹APP. This historic square, featuring elegant paving and a grand obelisk, will host the official parade for ticket holders and the protocol and artistic parts of the opening ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Place de la Concorde, the other venue for the event &nbsp;has so much history. During the French Revolution, it was referred to as the Place de la R\u00e9volution and was the site of many executions. Today, it symbolizes the city\u2019s transformation from a site of bloodshed to one of peace.<\/p>\n<p>The square\u2019s centerpiece is a large obelisk, originally erected by Ramses II at the Luxor temple in Egypt in the 13th century BC, and given to Â鶹APP in 1830.
