Just outside the enchanting city of Prague, archaeologists have made an incredible discovery. Czech archaeologists have made an incredible discovery near the town of Kutna Hora in Central Bohemia. They have found the remains of a village that’s older than the pyramids! We get a peek into the lives of the earliest farmers in Europe in this 7,000-year-old settlement. <\/p>\n

A Prehistoric Time Capsule<\/h3>\n

Imagine walking through a quiet meadow near the town of Kutna Hora. You would never guess that beneath your feet lie the traces of an ancient community. But that’s exactly what a team of Czech archaeologists uncovered. They found outlines of four huge houses and pits filled with ancient trash – a treasure trove for scientists!<\/p>\n

Daniel Pilar, one of the archaeologists, explains why this discovery is so special: “It’s like opening a time capsule. These early farmers left their village, and no one built on top of it for thousands of years. That is why it’s so well-preserved.”<\/p>\n

Clues from the Past<\/h3>\n

The team found lots of exciting objects that tell us about life 7,000 years ago:<\/p>\n

Stone axes:<\/strong> One axe was made from stone that came from over 60 miles away. This shows that these ancient people traded with distant villages.<\/p>\n

Pottery pieces:<\/strong> By looking at the shapes of pots and bowls, scientists can figure out how people cooked and stored food.<\/p>\n

Grinding stones:<\/strong> These were used to crush grain into flour, showing that the villagers grew crops.<\/p>\n

The houses themselves were huge – about as long as four school buses parked end-to-end! They could fit many families inside.<\/p>\n
