North London residents are set to benefit from improved transport links as a new bus route is set to launch later this year. According to the announcement by Transport for London (TfL), Route 310 will connect Golders Green and Stamford Hill, TfL\u2019s first direct service between the two areas for the first time. This comes after persistent calls from the locals to facilitate access between the two areas.<\/p>\n

The new route, which is scheduled to start on August 31st, 2024, will pass through several boroughs including Hackney, Barnet, Islington, Camden, and Haringey. With stops planned for key locations such as Highgate Village, Whittington Hospital, and Finsbury Park, the Route 310 is expected to be ease commuting in the area for both locals and visitors alike. <\/p>\n

TfL officials have stated that the route will offer a \u2018safe, accessible, sustainable and affordable\u2019 mode of public transport and play \u2018an important role in enabling more people in the area to switch from car use to public transport, reducing congestion and improving air quality across the area and beyond\u2019. <\/p>\n
