Hosted by Tourism Ireland<\/a>, F\u00e1ilte Ireland, and the acclaimed cruising tour operator Le Boat, these travel professionals are on a mission to immerse themselves in the breathtaking beauty and rich experiences offered by this hidden gem.<\/span><\/p>\n

Setting sail from Portumna, the travel agents have been treated to a captivating cruise along the scenic River Shannon, with stopovers at Shannonbridge and Banagher in Co Offaly. Their sojourn also featured visits to the historic Clonmacnoise and the enchanting Portumna Castle and Gardens, providing them with an up-close encounter with the diverse attractions of Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nadine Lehmann, Manager Germany at Tourism Ireland, expressed her delight at the opportunity to host this esteemed group of travel agents. She emphasised that such fact-finding visits play a pivotal role in strengthening the partnership between Tourism Ireland and the travel trade partners in Germany. The ultimate goal is to ignite the agents’ passion for the destination, thus encouraging them to promote and facilitate increased travel to Ireland.<\/span><\/p>\n
